Is there any place in AK that fixes jacket (non-leather) zippers? Mine stopped working on the Denali Hiway yesterday. Good thing it was in the 80's. I need to get it fixed tho. It won't be 85F next time....thanks for any help. Neil

I'm pretty sure Alaska Leather will be able to take care of that for you. They have repaired zippers for me.

If AK Leather can't fix it, they'll send you to Boot Country, who were able to fix my BMW GS tank bag zippers. AK Leather fixed the pocket on my old bomber jacket super cheap-I ought to have then fix the zipper and maybe a patch or 2 on the Kili were the pavement wore it a bit thin.

We (AK Leather) fix non-leather zippers too. 39.00.

Is Apocalypse still around? I used to go there all the time for custom Textiles. I remember they closed the doors back in 97/98 but did not know they re-opened.

No problem. Just put the hazard lights on, tell the passengers to talk amongst themselves, and prop the engine compartment open and leave her on Spenard...that should buy you 5-10 minutes.

    Good luck. :thumb
