My original plans for this bike was to harvest parts for my 600... However, I have the itch to have some fun and make this thing thump again. No title so it'll be screaming through the dirt. Cheap, clean, and fun! Gunna need some help though so help me out! I'll be posting more soon!

I'm in! I hope you change your mind and apply for a lost title and make it street legal though, just cause I have always loved these XLs!

Almost everyone who had one has one with a bad engine. This bike has been my only experience with a Honda product that had a bad engine by design. So many ate their own top end.

I rebuilt several of those engines back in the late eighties early nineties they are good engine and very powerful for their size but I have the 96 xr600 and I need parts to fix it so it's on the market.

Forks and shock. Forks need cleaned and bottom sliders polished. Shock looks 14592064104651964429683.jpg 1459206537596-216244540.jpg 14592065852911984652641.jpg 1459206697619-1568777116.jpg pretty good just needs cleaned and both will need a service. Damping adjuster on shock works freely and one cap on fork is damaged a small amount

I'll have to look into my XL a bit more. Doing some research it seems like the only thing I can use off of that is the front end and rear shock. Engine won't mount to frame and no engine parts can interchange
