Are you handy with the chainsaw? Lots of strong winds now,no idea how that area will be affected.Feels like the top of Mt.Washington

Yikes. You guys are on the National News here about the weather. That is why the course must be pre-ridden well before the event. Either clear the way or re-route, like we had to around a washed out bridge one year.

Wasn’t someone here selling a nice route sheet holder in years past? If so, PM me the contact info or details. Thanks for the help.

Yes BZR they’re made and sold by a member of the Berkshire club if I remember correctly his name is Bob Sadowski I don’t have his contact info anymore. Someone from the club can put you in touch with him.

Make sure you order it early, he does it as a side business so don’t expect to get it in a NY minute. We’ll worth the wait, best holder I’ve ever seen. Get the magnifier lens if your in need of reading glasses

Me..MIA? That's true, but I have been lurking. My problem is, I belong to a dirt bike racing club - but no longer have a dirt bike. (Though I lust for one) I have my R1150GS, with street tires, because what little time I have to ride puts me on the pavement. I'm a pragmatic sort. When I get in the woods on the GS I like to push it hard because that's exhilarating. More so with street tires. But its tough for a guy like me to curb my enthusiasm in those beautiful forests. And, because it's my only ride, I can't afford to throw it away out there. You see my dilemma. And now, I need new tires and have never put knobbies on any of my GSs, because of everything previously mentioned. I know I would try to treat it like a dirt bike. But then again...if I do show up with some new mudslingers...what fun. Who knows. Russ, I will lend a hand.

    What's a post without a couple photos....

My Grandfather on his 1920 HD...see, no knobbies.

He did! And I figure it was just a matter of time before Boiano, MadRiverMaz, and Nobody hit me up. It’s easy to get excited about an adventure ride on a day like this in the northeast. Thanks for the nudge boys!

Rode the event on a 1200 GS a couple years ago, skipped the hero sections, with 50/50 tires.....no issues, nice ride. Was with a guy on a GS with street tires and I had trouble keeping up with him!
