Being a nOOb, (206: dunc289 on the list) I'm a bit clueless as to how to pay for/reserve my tent site.
Maybe they've all gone, but all I see in the registration form ( http://basecamp4adv.com/events/2018-death-valley-noobs-rally/#tkt-slctr-tbl-524 ) is the more expensive RV and Motel rooms etc.
Checking the site booking form shows me all the Tent pitches are booked, but I assume thats the rally block booking.
I've checked the initial posts by nsfw, but I'm still unsure of how to proceed.
Do I just turn up on the day and work it out with whoever else is sharing Tent pitches?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers.

The top 3 entries say /Ride In/ (I.e. riding in and sleeping in your tent)
+D1 is one dinner (1 evening)
+D2 is two dinners (2 evenings)
+D3 is three dinners (3 evenings)

    Hope that helps.

    - Marty

Edit: if there is a particular tent site you are looking for, make sure it is posted here. Otherwise, you will get assigned an available site and it may not have any big rocks. But you will be assigned a spot BEFORE the rally.

    thanks marty.

unless you have a group of friends, best you request for a specific site or just a share site, that way you don't end up scattered. if you're solo, we'll stick you to any available site. i don't see why you need to have a specific site. most of the day, you're out riding and you won't really be spending a lot of time in your site other than sleep in your tent.

there are a lot of peeps don't care about the campsite. PSR is not a luxury campground, just dirt and rocks. very little shade. surprisingly, not too many peeps are turned away by the present state of the campground. it's the location plus having a restaurant and gas station across the street that really matters. well, i almost missed the most important part....the noobs rally is the disneyland of adventure riding.

You get to meet more peeps if you share a site with a stranger. At least 50% of the peeps I know met their riding buddies at DVNR. I guarantee everyone that you will have a dozen new friends after the rally. Many of them live in the same city as yours.

Just paid via PayPal "FULL RV + D3" Full RV site #11 would be great if possible. Long Bed Crew cab plus 34 foot trailer. spot #11 look like it might be easy to pull in and out. Cant wait.
I'm also doing Jimmy's class so I think I will be arriving Wednesday night after the class which is Tue 3/20 - Wed 3/21.

Thanks for all the hard work putting this together. This will be my first DV Rally but I can still imagine - it ain't east herding all the cats.

Welcome to the Rally Del. I'm afraid RV site 11 is no more. Taken out by the trailer cabins PSR has moved in there. Someone needs to edit the map.

The full hookup sites are all sold out for now, I think no hookup sites are available but that is up to Joel and Ersin.

Full hook up should be available for Wednesday night through PSR, but don't forget to move your rig on Thursday before you take off on an all day ride.

:clapPaid up.... DRY RV - hoping to get in 3 days of solid riding on the 450. I've got a few places that have been on the need-to-ride list I plan on checking out on at least one of those days.

Yes on what Spa said. Thanks Jimbo.

Draptor, my apology. Thought info on my posts page 1 was good enough. The map is an old one.

Will send you a refund and re-register as dry RV or big truck.

Bummer..... I thought I was all set with a Full Hook-up site back from post #73 :-(
1 - If one a spot with hookups opens up, can I be on the waiting list?
2 - I did the Emergency contact form.
3 - Do I need to call PSR and do anything or will I be all set?
4 - Should I Register for Jimmy Lewis class on his site or wait for instructions in post #11?
