Long time no see. Thanks for the invite, I’d love to ride with you guys down there.
Sounds great, always good to meet new people. Lets stay in touch and take a look st arrangements when time gets closer.
Can I get a RVspot #7confirmation asap so I don't have to move ?,I'll be there all week
In and put me down as a volunteer. . I can handle the BBQ or checking in inmates or whatever needs to be done. Tenting.
I’ll be camping in my van
In for a single bed cabin
Ladies and gent,
Please post your accommodation requests here instead of sending me or Joel PM's. I need to see the date and time stamp when I make the list.
I will start working on the list this weekend and post it on the first page post #4.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I would like to join the melee.
Can I get accommodations somewhere near Sfcootz as she's probably the only person I'll know at this, my first, ADV Rally.
I am not even sure what vehicle I'll be in/on but will most likely tent camp. Unless I find the cabins (?) more inviting. I'll be looking at bivouac layout maps when I can find em.
Bike choice is also bugging me. Most likely the EXC 450 (plated) or TW200 ADV'ed. Maybe both if I truck it.
I'm the volunteering type and will help when where I can. Sign me up.
Oh yeah... Although I've hit most the road spots in DV on past trips through I've not done any of the dirt. I'm stoked!
Joel - obviously you can count me in on the rally AND working with the growing cast of volunteers to make Thursday night's grill fest happen in Arnie's honor!
Hi. My name is Sally and I’m addicted to motorcycles. I’ll be trailering with my overland equipped Prius my Victory Ultraglide Super sport grand touring edition with racing slick take offs that I heard were great for traction from my local meet up at Peet’s coffee. I was hoping for RV parking close to one of the cabins so I can get the full effect...
Just kidding. I’m some idiot that has been showing up doing stupid stuff for a while now. Just don’t let @1224R have anything to drink. And don’t give him your coffee mug; you’ll never see it again...
Such a nice group of folks and a phenomenal organizer. I honestly don’t know how he does it and keeps a day job. This will only be my second noobs, but I’ve been riding... a while... I’m no @rider914 (I might actually be in the same galaxy as you these days, though, Matt, so watch out) but I’ve done a trip or 2 on a couple bikes. If I can make it, like I said I’ll go little bike this time and run the Exxon Valdez tank and high speed gears so I can keep up...
Ok, I didn't post my request and I don't recall where I was last year
I was in the full hookup next to Miguelito... I'll see if I can find the map.
Edit: I was in Site 2 last year... 38' toy hauler and crew cab dually take a ton of space.
OK, after looking at the map I'd like to request tent spot 28 if it's not already taken.
Total newb to DV dirt but not to riding. Started riding in the late 60's in dirt, still love it. Toughest part will be to decide which of my bikes to bring... or ride there. '88 R100GS -or- '06 950 ADV-S -or- '03 450EXC plated -or- '06 TW200 ADV'ed out.
If I ride there it'll be one of first two. If I truck it will be one of (or both) the second two.
Am interested in the most fun most remote and most scenic rides.
You'll want the plated 450.
@m0t0-ryder I'm really glad you're coming!
FIrst preference would be to tow my tent/bike trailer in behind my Jeep.
Tent trailer is 12ft long by 12 ft wide set up, and will be carrying a DRZ400.
No hookups required so it may be possible to share a no hookup rv spot with another trailer.
Otherwise, I will ride in on the DRZ and tent camp.

Just reviewed this thread pages to here.
Looks like folks have asked for the following tent spots so far...
24, 25, 26, 27 (2 folks), 28 (two folks, well three given the following...), 28 to 31.
I had (earlier) requested 28 but appears I'm the second to ask.
28 - 31 would be my choice, if possible.
Happy to share spots if allowed.
If caging it will be in a jeep or pickup.
If I ride, any tent spot will be good.
I may also arrive Wednesday to attend the Saline Valley Warm Springs overnighter ride.
note: also hope to have my HAM license by then too.
IN! will be riding in, secure a tent cabin please
