I plan to get one of these for my planned relocation to South East Asia. I know Garmin maps for this area are probably limited, but I could be wrong. Anyone have any experience on running Garmin GPS & its maps in these area?

I envision using the GPS on some camping/ fishing trips too. So I guess the battery in the 276C/ Quest would come in handy.

I am just brain-storming for ideas and feedbacks here. Any feedbacks will be greatly appreciated it.

    Thanks and cheers.

I just got back for Thailand 2 days ago. i went to Pan Tip Plaza (Bangkok) 2nd floor at the front is a GPS place. They took a week, but added Thailand along with BKK street maps to my Nuvi 350.(12,000b)

Hope this helps. I will be in Singapore 1st of July and will look for what is available while there.
