That's next weekend. And thanks for the heads up.
Had a Beta a while back. Rode it for several years in different classes.
Was fun while I did it but I lost interest.
But...why? The BRP is fun an' all, but trials is where it's at, baby.
Club politics and BS.
Don't need that chit when the goal is to have a good time.
Still like trials quite a bit but not enough to get another bike.
Makes sense. Reminds me of BMWNEF.
Club work days are not drama, they are necessary to maintain our trails and rehab the property after a major hurricane. Trails do not clear themselves.
He wasn't referring to RCDR.
It's always something. The bike went lean then quit before I got to the first section. Looks like a blown base gasket.
Sorry about the bars, Danny but glad you were not hurt. We had a club member fracture 7 ribs, collapse a lung, and fracture 2 vertebrae in Ocala yesterday, ride safe.
Wow, sorry to hear that.
Head on collision around a jeep road corner in Ocala. Other rider faired slightly better.
Dang, are you sure about that?
Never heard of one doing that even on the Expert's bikes.
Yeah, we're sure. We could hear it sucking air when we were kicking it & there's fluid around it. '02 was the first year for this motor, & Alex said it's a common problem.
Where in Ocala did the accident happen ?
Near bike loop I believe but not positive.
Good to see you in Ringgold, sorry you had the mechanical problem. You missed some fun sections. Hope the fix is drama free.
Good to see you too, Kenny.
I decided that before getting into it too heavily it'd be a good idea to give the carb a thorough cleaning, so I stripped it & did just that. Didn't find anything in particular except a couple of rich jets and since I don't have any on hand I dropped the needle one notch. It started on the second kick. I sprayed WD40 around the base gasket and didn't see any evidence of a leak. Sometimes field diagnoses can be misleading.
5th in Advanced at FTA #3 today. And it wasn't the carb, it was a kinked fuel line. Happened again this morning but found it just in time to ride.
