Thought we better start a new thread so as not to clog up the T2B Aventure Route thread.

General wish is for a Tunnel Tiki Tour when Night Falcon is able to ride again, hopefully in April before it gets to wet.

Keen provided it doesn't coincide with Easter and wider family commitments

Open to all? I kind of fancy that, depending on dates....

Wonderful idea...I didn't do all the tunnels but the roads are amazing even without them.

When you have finished the ride it would be good to have a discussion on whether you collectively think they or some of them should be included up in the north to south route.

Happy riding! And be sure to drop into the aromatherapy tea shop in Ohura...its been a long time since you could get a cuppa there. Gotta support local beesnees.

    How about the 15th April.
Anzac is a Wednesday so it doesn't help for a long weekend.

    All welcome.

I'm interrested! Easter is sold, but otherwise I'm quite flexible.

    Excited!

Pretty sure we have that weekend free so should be in. Came up through Moki & Kiwi Rds a few weeks back & it was very nice. We were also pleasantly surprised by the coffee availability in Ohura :D

If there are a few of us heading over from the BOP maybe we should plan an interesting Friday afternoon route for the trip over?

    Cheers

The recently opened Tea & Aromatherapy shop also had a coffee plunger. Nice muffins too. In one of the old shops, North end of the main drag across from the fire station. Hours are probably fairly variable, you'd want to give some notice if you were turning up with a group. Will see if I noted the ph number somewhere.

    Cheers

We were there Akld Anniversary Weekend and did the low level bridge road, Kiwi Road via Waitaanga Raod and ended up at the the Waitara Masonic Hotel (which I can thoroughly recommend).

Anyway in Ohura, Michelle is very keen to do business with us...

spoken to a few bodzz about this ride.....looks like its gonna be well supported.

The 15th April is a Sunday but we will likely head over Friday evening (13th) or early Saturday (14th) from Palmy along with some of the HB crew. Camping ground recommendations greatly appreciated. Cant wait to buy a whongamommanna t shirt....assuming its on the route....which i assume it is....if it is....but it might not be....but if it is that would be great.

EDIT: Physio says I'm making awesome progress!
