Nice pics Eaglebeak.
The Monday night 2-up game was one for the ages. One of the former 'regular' players made a come-back and let loose. For the last couple of hours he took on every head backer at the game! Most throws there was thousands of dollars on the table on the result. Lots of humour, big crowd gathered. Its been many years since I've seen a game like that.
I camped at Errabiddy Bluff a couple of weeks ago, top little spot ( apart from the midgies) . well worth the trip in on the sand. Camped on the opposite side of that clearing to you.
Last time I was on a bike at Erribiddy Bluff was on my way to the OCR at Gascoyne Junction.
About 5 of us got in on dusk.
We were sitting around a fire sharing a bottle of Port, probably around 8-8:30 pm when Paves (I've not seen him around here much lately ?) rode in on his KLR.
A good effort in the dark.
Booked and paid...ready to rock!! Thinking Im taking the skinny EXC though...just for fun!
I'm currently sorting through the pile of half used D606's in my shed, guess I could do a Squilly a take a spare and swap it out when I get there
Hey men, how do you find out if roads are allowed to be ridden on. For example Old Haul Road No3, Karrakup. It crosses under Nettleton road
Wait & see, once you get there ;-) other than that can't help.
Its easier to say sorry than it is to seek permission.
Hey all, wish you all a happy and safe holiday season.
Don't do anything too silly or if you do please post pics.
After some contact details for someone on here occasionally.
The guy with the gorgeous SRV 250 road bike who has been at the OCBR/NNR in past years.
I thought his name was Nick, but it could be Dennis or Richard.
I'm sure there's a few of you who know him.
I need to shoot a PM off to him.
I last saw him at Collie motorplex when he was racing his cbr250rr.
At Pembo pub after 500km of mostly dirt, twin and single track.
Had to get off and walk around to find the track at one point.
Ready to do it all again tomorrow.
What a magical day.
Awesome riding down here.
Weathers here, wish you were beautiful.
Have you got a gpx track to share?
The ride was ridden easily by 3 experienced riders on big bikes.
2 Tiger XCx and one AT.
It does need refining though as panniers would probably have been an issue in a few places on some single track. We had small top box/bag on the back, l had a small back pack on as we simply overnighted at Pemb pub. Some sections had steep climb and descents, and two deep dry creek tributaries to get through. Not for novice riders in the very few sections. Bloody great though it you are a half way reasonable rider.
PM me you email address and I'll send you the file. When l get around to reviewing our trip l can let you know the single track point. We had to get off the bikes to find the track despite riding past it twice at walking pace.
Right now though...... BEER TIME!
Anyone know how I can get in touch with the following people please?
paul bradstreet in Margaret river
I'm having some cdi issues with a 1992 xl600v transalp (so any other person who might be able to assist please)
Don't know him, but the manual is pretty good for troubleshooting. Link here: http://motodataproject.com/download_comfim.php?products_id=141
Check out pages 17-2 on.
Thanks for the PM's, assistance and responses. Just a bit of feedback fwiw:
There is definitely two different 'twin' type CDI's for the TA. We managed to locate two different part numbers. But both CDI's for a bike needs to be/are identical. What's confusing is that the one part number comes up on the internet as 87-88 model, whilst I know of 95 models that use that part. And the other part is listed as 89-97, but the compatibility tables only list 89 and 90.
I further produce more proof LOL - this image is of the PC-board of one of the CDI's (I don't know which):

This is a picture of the CDI out of the bike - not nearly the same:

So in the final analysis, we have decided to rather go for the single Ignitech unit that replaces both CDI's and are programmable.
