Day eight heading to Horsepower Ranch near Ensenada. If you've never been check it out. Super nice totally geared to off roaders. On my track it shows turning off at Ojos Negros to ride some single track, we did not because of the Baja 1000. We took Mex 5 to Mex 3 right to Horsepower Ranch IMGP3303.JPG

Our trip is over, till next time. But wanted to share a picture from 2 years ago when Scotts BMW burnt up the clutch in a deep sand wash near San Felipe, we were totally screwed because the sand was very soft and moving the bike was
next to impossible to move. The Mexican military came by and saved our asses, giving us a ride to San Felipe free of charge, they were super nice

Nice pics. Did they charge you to camp or drive through the park/ Lake Hansen?

Hello Fuggy, if you drive through there is no charge, spend the night I think it was $6.00 or so not much. There's lots of room for level camping, it's beautiful, the pit toilets are muy malo

Nice, great pics and write-up; looks like a fantastic 10 days enjoying some Baja goodness :thumb

Crazy cool shots of the bike being loaded in the military rig, you had some karma coming your way.

    Thanks for the journey!

Thanks for sharing and posting your tracks. I will add them to my Baja collection, never know what you will find with someone else tracks... All of my interactions with the military have been positive like yours....
