Yes, 690R is the top contender to replace the 990R once I decide that question.

Spent the morning fighting with computers and computer tools. It is supposed to begin raining soon. My fun with doors errand yesterday has left my back complaining. So, I sit, sip coffee and read.
I gave up on the computer issue. I will fix it by replacing the streaming device with a better streaming device.

Yesterday we also looked at new hearing aids. I have an appointment.
I'm standing there at the counter the tech has my devices and has been replacing some parts. I can't hear any of the three women, my wife included in a loud Costco store with all three of them standing within three feet of me. I put the devices back in my ears and can now hear all three.

The two tech's had not seen any hearing aids like mine in years.
They looked up my file and they're only 8 years old. Not exactly vintage.
Now the new rage are fully in the ear with rechargeable batteries. And of course a smartphone app.

If my back feels better later I'm going down to the shop and put the bike stand up and get some work done.

Yeah, and you weren't kidding about the wet snow. While we only had a couple of inches down here; that stuff piled on my truck hood, top, and in the bed was heavy enough to affect the steering on the drive home.

    16 and counting.
I’ve burnt some calories doing my own, and 2 neighbors drives and walks.
This isn’t the kind of white stuff you attack when it’s over. One must stay ahead of it.

I put my Garmin on to mow the lawn one afternoon last summer. The half of the yard I mow was not quite 10km once you go back and forth, back and forth...

Even with a snowblower, last week's mashed-potato snow just about killed me. I'm headed out to clear the driveway after supper, even though it's not supposed to stop until tomorrow. As Chipper says, need to stay ahead of this crap.

On the bright side, we get another week of fatbiking!

    52" riding zero turn FTW

...and just like that, I'm back up to 15 bikes. The R3 disc that the owner ordered for me came in. Pics when it's built (as soon as I figure out how to use the front TA)

    M

edited to add: darn 1/2 turn QR style TA that had the pre-tension adjuster on too tight from the factory and wouldn't turn till I put the gorilla grip on it. :bluduh All's well on the front end now. :clap

That white shit is hitting us now. Bailed out of work early to get ahead of the rush-hour carnage of everyone that forgot how to drive in snow over the last couple of weeks.

‘Sposed to turn to rain overnight. I’ll take my chances in the morning. It’s almost rain now as it is.

No running, no Zwift tonight. Taking care of mama bear who seems to have developed a bit of a stress fracture in her foot. Hopefully it gets better before vacation. T-minus 15 days to blast off. Better start healing soon.

No lawn to mow, no snow to blow. Guess I'll have to walk to the beach.
