I'm not really a car guy. But it's on the way to grab the Texoma tag.....
I will be within 200' of it this morning. Unfortunately, in a cage...
New tag soon.
I was coming back from Waco today, listening to a little classic country. One of my favorite old songs came on - Blue Sky’s. The sky wasn’t really very blue, but I was at an exit that was related to the song. So I took it and headed downtown.
Another view -
If YFF’s think it’s too far, let me know and I will choose something closer. It is well north of Waco but is a pretty good ride for the north siders.
It is closer to me than some of the North East Dallas.
I guess maybe it's too far... Or you guys have all lost interest. Or....?
Not necessarily. All the tag games seem to go through periods of dormancy. Someone will grab it eventually.
I had about decided that everyone had forgotten about this thread.... Go @Aanarchy Go!
Home again, Home again....
LOL. I have been eying this tag but had surgery on my arm in December. I just got clearance from the doc to ride, street only, and no long rides he said. I told him I'd stick to the Big D area.
Well - speedy recovery to you... Hope you get to enjoy the good riding weather this spring.
ESE of the last one. Less than 10 miles. (Way less)
There was a little glass on the sidewalk there so watch your toes.
I just cannot get a full size pic posted from my phone. I have to re-post when I get home. I need to experiment.
I like the perspective oj your pic @wrussell61 - it looks like you're about to head up that road.
A two-fer. First pic posted gets the tag. The first pic is very close to the last tag.
To all the people who protested the new owner's plans for this landmark - congratulations. You now have a vacant building instead of a viable business.
New tag soonish.
Sorry for the delay.
The history behind this is pretty interesting. The first car in Texas was owned by a resident in this town.
