WTB BMW E39 or E46 Wagon. Manual Transmission Only. On the E46, I'd be OK with it being an XI, though would prefer RWD only. Anyone have anything like this? :ear

    2005 Kawasaki KX65
    KTM Killer
    Verona, WI
    $1500

    IMG_3910.JPG

Win Christmas this year by getting this killer KX65 for your 6-11 year old son or daughter. It has everything needed for the beginner coming off of a 50 all the way to competing with the KTMs in the 65cc class (for ½ the cost and 4x the reliability). Between the height and power adjustments my son was able to start riding this at age 6 to learn using a clutch. By age 10 he was using it to race hare scrambles. It is currently setup at near full height/power with only the front forks lowered 1”, but all the parts are included to lower it up to 4” and almost completely remove the power hit or limit the throttle range. Our focus has mostly been off-road, but I would not hesitate to take this to the MX track tomorrow.

Our loss is your gain. My boy has moved up to an 85 (which feels gutless compared to this bike), so now the 65 has to go.

    1995 Ford F-150 XLT 4x2

Bright red with light grey cloth interior (bench with armrest)
    5.0 (302) with 4R70W automatic transmission (w/OD lockout)
    3.55 limited slip axle
Regular cab, long wheelbase (133"), long bed (8')
    Bed liner
Class III hitch receiver w/4 wire trailer pigtail
    Cast aluminum wheels
Power: Steering, Mirrors, Windows & Door Locks (with aftermarket remote lock)
    Sliding rear window
    Aftermarket (Panasonic) radio
Dual fuel tanks (18 gallon in front with 17 gallon in rear)
Just over 75K miles (this will not change much as I don't drive it often)

    The Good
I've done quite a bit of maintenance and the truck is ready to go for quite some time. For a northern Illinois truck, it is in remarkably good shape with respect to rust.
The interior is in decent to good condition showing a little wear but nothing out of the ordinary. I've asked two different shops (that did some of the work below)
to change the transmission fluid. Both said it didn't need to be done based on the way the trans shifts and the color/smell of the fluid.

The following is a list of items I've addressed (or had addressed):

    September 2016
    • replaced spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor & wires
    • replaced accessory (fan) belt & belt idler pulley
    • changed oil, oil filter and air filter

    March 2017
    • replaced radiator hoses (upper, lower & t-stat bypass), thermostat and coolant

    April 2017
    • replaced fuel filter
    • replace upper & lower ball joints
    • replaced brake line to rear axle, brake hose and lines to wheel cylinders
    • flushed/bled brake system
    • 4 new tires & alignment

    May 2017
    • replaced front fuel tank and tank straps

    July 2017
    • replaced four shocks
    • replaced front brake pads & rotors
    • serviced calipers (caliper boot kit & cleaned guide pins)
    • replaced transmission tailshaft seal
    • replaced rear driveshaft u-joint
    • adjusted/tightened steering box

    November 2017
    • replaced windshield & upper windshield trim moldings

    The Not-So-Good
The oil pan leaks a little. I'm not sure if it's just a gasket or a rear main seal. It does not leak a lot, perhaps a 1/8 ounce after every time it's driven.
Rust/Rot; the cab is solid but there's some rot in the bed wheel arches and tailgate. It's not extensive and if you're comfortable doing a little bodywork, you can probably fix this yourself.
The truck has been repainted (original color) but it's hard to find evidence of it (in other words, a pretty good job).

    Why Am I selling?
I will be moving next summer and will have garage space constraints. I'm going to need a short wheelbase, short bed truck.

    Trades?
I would consider them but I have some needs which limits the list. I would be interested in:
    • 1980-96 Ford F-150 short wheelbase/bed with 5.0/auto
    • 1967-75 Ford F-100 short wheelbase/bed with V8/auto
    • Ford Ranger regular cab with short bed and 4.0 engine/auto
I'm pretty good at mechanical stuff but suck at bodywork. So, I'd prefer trucks with little to no rust.

    Adv Rider price: $6400.

I understand these York Load Lok bed liners are pretty versatile. You can use a 2x6 or 2x8 to keep the load from sliding.

Using my thumb as a scale for the size of the rust bubbles. An aftermarket flare patch panel, from LMC Truck, would fix this easily.

Rust is more of a minor issue on the passenger side.

Some small spots on the tailgate. The tailgate latching mechanism works just fine.
