Anyone going from central Florida?
Can't find a link to the ride??
Google "poverty riders international," they have a public facebook page you can view.
It’s a PRI thing. I may have to drag the airhead out and see if I remember how to ride
Looks like a good time.
Come join the Poverty Riders and the Florida Moto Guzzi Club at the 2017 ___Bottom Motorcycle Campout at Scott's Ferry Campground, located on FL Hwy 71 just 13 miles south of Blountstown FL, Wednesday-Sunday, November 15-19, 2017. Setup starts Wendneday afternoon, with a hot dog dinner Thursday evening, a fish fry Friday evening, and Saturday afternoon field events. The Sauce Boss, Bill Wharton will be entertaining and cooking his world-famous gumbo on stage Saturday evening by the campfire. Morning coffee provided by the Christian Motorcyclists. Beer donated by our generous club members. This is a free event for motorcycle campers, but please register in the campground pavillion when you arrive. Your donations will pay for the camping fee, food and entertainment. If you plan to bring a camper, trailer or motorhome, you will be asked to register at the campground office and pay their normal campsite fee. Come early and stay late, and join in on the good times !!
It is Tony. And all are welcome even on a Honda
I won the "slow race" 5 years ago, then was quickly disqualified when they found out I hauled the bike in a truck. A bunch of people felt bad for me, so they gave me free food and beverages.
Last time there, they had some high quality kegs of craft beer. A lot of characters and good stories to be around. Highly recommended low key adventure. And, some halfway decent riding around there too.
Phil and I went last year. Not our kind of event. Folks we met were all nice of course. Live loud music until 230 AM is not our norm. We were tent camping with nowhere to hide.
Lots of others had fun!
WHAT'S THAT? I can't hear you. I've got loud JENNAY ear.
I remember that race. I may have come in 3rd.
I'll be there to represent Tallabama.
