Its been like this for a week in Central Oregon. Still ice spots on the roads, and the woods don't hardly thaw out all day.

I'm trying to get work done, but dang it . . . sunny and 50s is gonna be too hard to resist.

I've been out a fair bit too, work permitting. The low, bright sun makes seeing and being seen difficult, so be careful of cages not paying attention. You know how I worry about you young kids.

That's not what I read on tripcheck today. I'd like to get out, but most of the roads I looked at said "Patches of ice."
Having lived here all my life, it's a bit boring running around on local roads.

Well I don't know where you got your weather forecast, but I'm not seeing any great (or even decent) riding weather in mine. Maybe they've updated it, or maybe it's warmer in Sunriver? You had me excited for a moment though.

Hmm. Maybe that inversion is on the north side of Lava Butte. We've had blue sky down south.

Too bad, cuz I was gonna trailer up to Horse Butte with the dirt bike and try that. Gonna see what the weekend brings.

So envious. I'm dreaming of becoming a snowbird but won't be able to do it for a few years. Enjoy your 66 and I'll work on staying in front of my fireplace during my 8 degrees. The good news is here there isn't freezing fog and the clear air with bright blue sky is beautiful. Now it just needs to hurry up and get light out. :D

Retirement is great, except for the part about being old. 30 consecutive winters in Bend was enough.

Cheaper (and healthier) for me to stay in my little truck camper in the Arizona desert than at home.
