Hoping someone can help. This started yesterday and I'm not sure why. When I open a text box to type a post the default text color is now black and the size is 3. My style is set to "Black responsive" and always has been so black text is very hard to read.
What happened and how can I change it back? I can manually set it back to light grey size 4 but it would just be simpler if I could reset the defaults back to what they were. I've looked through the settings but can't seem to find anything relating to text color and size.

    Ok that is weird...
The post seems to be fine, it's just the text box that has changed.

On my PC as well. Same Dell laptop I've been using for years. It's more annoying than anything else really. As I'm typing this the text is black on dark grey like in the picture I posted. Once I click the "Post Reply" button it posts it in the regular color and text. And it started last night. :scratch

Ok, it's back to normal now. I thought it was my computer but I left it running because I was uploading a video to youtube. I came back a few hours later and everything is back to normal now. :scratch
    Whatever, I'll take it. :beer

The default font, color and size is dependent on the skin that is used. If you specify a color, it may not be viewable in all the skins.

Yeah that's what I thought and I changed the skin to see if it would fix it. Viewing the other skins was fine as they are much lighter than the black one but reverting back didn't reset to default. I have to suspect it really was something to do with my laptop although I'm not sure what yet. I just plugged an external mouse today and my pointer changed to black. I think I hosed my OS by visiting too many porn sites. :baldy

HELP! I just had to reload Windows 10 thru Dell and now on this website / Forum only the text is way to small for me to even see. The rest of the text on my computer and other websites / Forums is the same large size. Can you help me fix?
    Thanks

Hold CTRL and press 0 (zero) key. This is the shortcut to reset most web-browsers to the 'default' text size. Another shortcut for changing text size is holding CTRL and scrolling the mouse wheel up or down. Which can happen by accident, and sometimes be the cause of these symptoms.

If that isn't the problem, log out, clear web browser cache, restart, and log back in. Google for how to clear cache based on the web browser you're using, as instructions are specific.

I have a related question regarding the skin colors. I seem to remember main color being black with a grey background/outline. I have “black responsive orange” selected, but my main color is grey with the black background.
