Good feedback.Going off the road riding in a sidecar sounds like a bad day.I've been eyeing various sidecar rigs, still not convinced that I need to spend.

This is poppy he passed away 11-22-15 but he used to wait for me to come back from my rides and come running over to me as soon as i pulled into the yard and try to get on the bike for a ride around the neighborhood. He liked to ride on anything that moved and didn't care how fast i would go. Loved the jetski also.

Only 4 months old but seemed pretty comfortable in the tank bag. I’ll have to take her for a ride and see how she does.

Where did you get the box or did you have it fabricated? I really like it.

that is absolutely awesome! How many hours do you think you have in it? that's pretty dang trick. especially with the storage and the shade.

did you think about hinging it in the back so the dog can enter from the front where the seat is lower?

Charlie just leaps up, but eventually starts to wear on her

I'm not really sure of my hours in,a lot of time has been standing around with a beer pondering the best course....not really billable time.Maybe 80 hours?.It will be a lot faster next time through. The shade is actually c-channel for the soft top to fasten to...once its made.I want to take my time and do a better job with the top this time.My sewing has improved from wretched to *meh*. I guess the product will tell.
The bags can hold all Wok's dog junk, and about 10 days of his food and treats. He's got a pretty good idea whats in there.
The rear-opening seemed the least bad way in the event of an accidental opening, and it lets me stand right up close to load him in.Wok doesn't jump up,he probably can physically, but he just doesn't.He's not a brave dog. One of the mistakes with the last one was the tip-forward windshield. Wok didn't like going in backwards and he scraped his legs a few times,so this can end that situation (Also a hassle to unfasten the soft top every time letting him in or out in bad weather),also, I didn't like how he looked when I left him on the bike to pay for gas or get groceries. With this,I can pop it up and he lays in the tray bottom with more breeze etc. He seems ok to not jump down so far.
I've still got a bunch of stuff left to do.
Sew up a sleeping mat cover (got nice grey fleece)
    Temp sender (got)
    Inside light (got)
    Tail lights (on order)
    Windshield cowl vent (on order)
    Soft top (got fabric.....)
    Paint or something? (under debate)
The overall weight seems good so far, less than the last one by a bit. I hope to be less than 85lb including Wok and all his stuff.
To address some concerns I've encountered,I'll figure a way to do some CO level testing while riding...but that's a ways off yet.
