Yah.... yah... that's right... i forgot! ... that's what really happened..
Really enjoying this thread! Went back about 15 pages and will hop on it again to see new posts and look at the remainder of the older ones. One thing it has taught me is to stay away from K60s as this appears to be the wreckers tire of choice....
Is that Elbow Falls?
Yah, after the flood of 2012
Looks more like after the great BM of 2012
I may need to dial down my throttle input...
Thats a rough patch. I cringe on sections like that when I'm on the F800. On the other hand, on my KLR..... not so much, but still.
I'm not worthy for sure. Ridden that area on my 2015 Husqvarna TE300 and had a great day, but the GS..... hmmmmmmmm
paused video of a sloppy rut spill..good times.
I wasn't going faster than the crash
Never ridden on pumice before... what's it like to crash on? On one hand, I'd think a little softer than rock but on the other hand, maybe very sharp?
300 is at the top and I'm at the bottom.
I ware 20 lb of riding gear so when I do get spit off into the lava rocks I can pick the bike up and continue to ride, though at this particular spot I wasn't going fast enough because I got momentarily distracted by a big wave, normally I go about 20mph through here...@ min 3:49 is where I did that rock nap>> Jgd8x43yqAYxm21szUOqOg==.mp4
FYI> Im laying out gnarly trail sections for my two day 400 mi dual sport ride
