Welcome back I guess. I didn't realize you had been down. I am an occasional user and have uploaded lots of tracks.

I have a few questions about things I don't understand well. First I really miss the latest tracks feature. Is it available anywhere?

Second exactly how do I download tracks now. I have managed to do it the last few times I needed to.
But I have no idea how I did it. I just played around and hit lots of options and after a while I saw the message that the track file had been downloaded. I never remember seeing a button/option called "Download File".

Maybe the download is automatic once a file is selected and I just wasn't waiting long enough.

Do you have to subscribe to the site and pay the monthly fee to be able to create or modify tracks. I want to do some route planning by combining some routes I found on your site but haven't been able to create or modify any tracks ??

One you log in, you can edit your own maps. You cannot edit other people's maps however.

I use this site a lot. I download tracks I want to my computer and do the editing there in either Garmin Mapsource or Basecamp.

Which you can do, but the sites editing capabilities are quite good as well.

It is free to use in any way. I graciously accept $10 from anyone willing to offer it however. Thanks.

I have tried numerous time to upload tracks without success. The files I'm attempting to upload are all GPX files. It's my first time using the SW and the procedure is very intuitive so I can't see what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There doesn't seem to be any activity here anymore. Not sure what that means but I still can't get DSM to work.

Have you tried going thru the video in the first post?

I hadn't used the program in quite a while, but it has always worked for me.
I just checked and it comes up running like I remembered.
I have had trouble downloading maps. After playing around I got it work, but I had no idea what combination of commands worked.
Apparently the solution is in the video on the first post.

Yes I checked out the video. Uploading just doesn't work for me. A friend of mine tried with my logon and couldn't upload either. His logon worked fine for him yet when I used his it would not work. Confusing to say the least.
