    Thanks, but I'm not trying to post a photo. I want the embeded interactive Google map in the post like you find on other Web pages.

    i thought you needed the photo mapimage.jpeg
    i don't think is possible here,you can't even post a kml file ,only a gpx

    You're trying to use an iframe to embed the Google map and that's an HTML element. This forum is not configured to support HTML submitted from users as a post. It only allows BBCode. Pretty sure the forum software can grant permission for users to submit HTML, but this is usually disabled for security reasons. Sometimes you'll find forums that allow user-submitted HTML but they'll restrict it only to simple formatting and none of the neat stuff like iframes.

    BBCode only allows for simple text formatting. There is no iframe equivalent.
