Eureka Springs, Arkansas is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains, Eureka Springs is a hub for the best motorcycle rides in the Natural State. https://www.eurekaspringsmotorcyclerides.com/ A week before the "Bikes, Blues and BBQ Ride" I am going to use their maps to explore the area. https://bikesbluesandbbq.org/ride-maps/ Eureka Springs is a city in the Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas. It’s known for the preserved Victorian buildings of its Historic District, such as the Palace Bath House, Basin Park Hotel and Crescent Hotel, all built around the city’s natural springs. In the nearby hills, soaring Thorncrown Chapel is a striking wood and glass church. To the south, Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is home to big cats and bears. On the way, I explore Jackson, Mississippi and Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas. On the way back, I will stay in Kentucky and go down the length of the Natchez Trace Parkway from Nashville to Natchez. My stopover with be Tupelo, the boyhood home of Elvis. This ride will be one for Loretta, my Kawasaki Voyager. Rita (V-Strom 650) will be resting for another trip north to Alaska in 2019.
