Has anyone had the small Firebug Deluxe and wished they had the larger Coalbee Deluxe?

Traveling by Van, so space/weight really isnt an issue. Since im usually only cooking for me I figure the smaller grill would be more efficient.

The fire bug is a great little unit, exactly half the size of the Coalbee. You can still burn wood in the firebug, just gotta chunk it up smaller or leave some poking out. If it’s just you or 2-3 people, the firebug is a great size. Any more than that and you’ll want the larger version.

I will say we sell the Coalbee about 3-1 over the firebug, but I think that’s mainly in part to the versatility of the Coalbee. You don’t have to fill the whole thing up with charcoal, can lump coals to one side and only run one cooking grid. It’s large enough to do a little indirect cooking and when it comes to fire time It can also take full size (18”) store bought firewood.

I have both sizes. If space and weight aren't super critical. Then get the full size, no question! They are really nice little grills that should last a person decades of use.

first of all, thanks for supporting the DVNR2018! we raised over $5K to support land advocacy group; made it happened because of vendors like you.

hmmm, there's a fold-a-flame sitting on the bench and one lucky winner took it home. hopefully it's being used now.
