Yo doc any information on the isle of Man-hatten.
Somebody asked me. I'm undecided about a hooligan ride in the City. Anyone from the 22 hood going like a few years ago?

I usually go. Sort of a tradition....
1st ride of the year, and it keeps you under control for New Year's Eve. That was Skull's original reason for organizing it.
Start is usually between 11:00 and 11:30. Sidewalk Cafe.
Check out the video from Jason's breakfast and ride in 2004. I'm in the video with my yellow pig!

We had fun. The Hooligan gang actually road our Harleys places. We did road trips to Canada, Illinois, New Hampshire and Daytona. 10 years of Harleys with these miscreants. And we didn't wash the bikes except to get the large chunks off. The Hooligan runs around NYC on Tuesday nights were incredible. Not sure how we survived them.
Jason was a pretty decent mechanic. He could rejet the carburetor on his Panhhead at a gas stop in the time it took the rest of us to take a leak and drink a soda. Inch was our navigator. He'd look at a map, and tell us we were close to our destination. Just an inch away! Sputter always ran out of gas. Fun days.

p.s., that was an Isle of Manhattan run from about 10 years ago!

And, of course, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

Gentlemen..Merry Christmas ..hope St Nick was good to you all... I need some help..I am planning a Vintage Japanese MC rally..it is based around the 1978-1982 Yamaha XS/XJ1100s..But all are welcome..this is a traditional rally called XS East. Every year the venue changes.. This year the discussion is centered on Newton NJ.. I already have the Econo Lodge staked out..but i need rroute suggestions that loop out and return to Newton...These old bikes are limited in their tank range so we'd like to see gas stops at no more than 120 miles apart..plus other things like places to eat..scenery etc..I will have friends up ther scope out routes that I could suggest..with your kind help please. Been down here since '09 and it will be nice to get back to Jersey..Oh This rally is always held on the memorial Day Weekend...this year that is Fri may 25th -Mon may 28th (Memorial Day)
Thanks to all in advance!!! :beer

I recall many yrs ago riding on that narrow road through Wallpack..theres alot all around Newton to explore...Chatterbox is too close to be a lunch stop but maybe for dinner? I know theres alot of options for dining...and unlike down here in bumfuck land..up there ya never have to go far to find things you need..like gas..food and motels...down here all we got between towns is Kale and Tabacky...:lol3

Bennie, nice to hear from you. Have you turned into a redneck yet? Returning to the nest with your rally, huh?
