This guy didn’t get away.
Moma’s is always a good stop
Not food but beer in Mazatlan
Tres Islas Cervezaria
Last night I tried the Nitro Porter and dry hoped pilsner?..mmmmm
Then the owner came over and we talked beer as I
was in the micro brewery buisness for 25 years, he had a 10 gal.keg of his 11% barley wine fermented on a wild yeast, it was fantastic with a very Belgian sour beer character
Sorry no photos

This was a fine lunch of pollo y conejos in Timilpan. Here's the google link to the location...
I would suppose that as a map name Baha Norte is out but as a described location, I see no reason for a tiff?
R.e. Post #24, I do believe Mary had a little lamb, lost her baby lamb?
The pollo looks better!
Sorry didn't mean to start a tiff, just stating facts so others don't make the same mistake when in Mexico.
I'll try to be more careful....
La Palapa in Loreto, Baja California Sur.
Also in Loreto is El Nito, with the best Porterhouse anywhere.
rabbits! big ones. it was the best meal I ate down there last year, and we just randomly stopped there when we saw grill smoke. It was served with an appetizer of pork skins, white cheese and white beans, then the main course was served with the grilled onions you see under the chicken, white cheese, avacados, tomatoes and tortillas.
I think what threw me off is the perspectives the same as when you try to make a fish look bigger thus I guessed wrong. Rabbitos I like, baa baa is a no!
Yeah. It took me a second to figure it out when we were there. Not having the ears on them threw me off, but the shape of the head is more rabbit like. I'm sure they are some sort of farm-raised breed.
Mama Espinoza's, a long time ago,
The picture lobster, one that has been seen in many a photo.
La Roca, Nogales, Sonora.
Walking distance from the border for those that are looking for a day trip from Tucson.
Nice location with great ambiance if you want a romantic dinner with your honey.
Adriana's on the malecon in San Felipe has the truly original fish taco and I still think they are the best. Her shrimp tacos are pretty frigg'n awesome too. Ask her if she has her garlic steamed clams, you won't be disappointed
How much are the lobsters nowadays?
San Francisquito in Baja where the fish in the tacos is so fresh it twitches when you bite it
North of San Francisquito 40 or 50 miles, visiting Pancho at Playa San Rafael is worth a try. He usually has cold beer but occasionally has lobster (sadly not when I've been by) or scallops. I think I doubled my lifetime consumption of scallops after eating with Pancho
Love that place.
Hey, That's my bro Joey. How are you related?
Don’t know, we only stopped for a lunch. That was a display specimen.
Met Joey on our Baja ride this past winter. We have mutual friends in the Tucson AZ area.
