Evil Clown and I scouted a few roads near the start this morning. Incorporating a couple more dirt roads to get the route started.

Also a road with huge views.

I'll be scouting the northern section later in June. I can't get up there for a couple more weeks yet.

Wow, I sure miss all that lush greenery to ride in out here. That looks awesome!

Ahh.... the one BMW I would like to own. The more ADV bikes progress, larger, faster, more complicated,....... the more the original 800GS looks right. Smaller, lighter, less complicated, with decent suspension, but won't kill you on 150 miles of pavement.

You see, you really don't need a beak, that was the job of the front fender which actually serves a purpose.

I'm in Hudson, NH and am sick of riding all the way over to Vermont to find a good northbound dirt route. I'm super excited to see this! Sending you a PM!

Love the project, and I'd be psyched to get a copy of the beta route...I may manage to get over to northern New Hampster and have a look (and some of those areas are places I've checked out coming to and from my folks' place in Maine).

    Man. yea.

I wish there was some GPX available right now.
Actually headed up from southern to northern NH tomorrow, and would love to do it all dirt.

If anyone can supply some data, I'd love to help map. Headed to Pittsburg as a final destination.

I was away riding in Pennsylvania over the weekend. I haven't gotten up north yet to finish off the route. Soon, hopefully!

I have GPX for the southern part if anyone wants it. I've sent it out to a few people who have asked. Just PM your email address to me and I'll send back the file. I'd like to hear what works and what doesn't.

This is intended to be a dirt road journey through New Hampshire. The route doesn't have any hero sections (yet :evil). It's intended to be for riders with large bikes full of gear. No need to shorten anyone's journey with a broken machine or bodies.

Can someone pull down my GPX file and tell me if it works in your Garmin Basecamp or whatever else you are using? Maybe load it on your own device to see if it works. This will save all the email messages, but I'm still happy to send if necessary. Dropbox would make things a little easier for everyone.

+1 on opening fine in Basecamp (and on the northern end appearing to be non-connecting with Canuckistan).

    Thanks all!

I use OsmAnd. Loading straight to the app, the route does not connect to Canada. But I then ran the file through GPX Converter to convert it from .gpx to .gpx.:dunno The route now goes right up to within raking distance of red maple leaves.

the file is a mix of tracks and routes with waypoints so running thru converters may get interesting results....
