The Oregon Department of Forestry terminated Regulated Use Closure on Wednesday morning 12:01am October 3, 2017. Hood River County trails in the Northwest, Middle Mountain and East Areas are now open for motorized use.

Be aware that fire season is still in effect. We are currently at Industrial Fire Precaution Level 1.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Trying to full-time it in Hood River
    Thanks Terry.

There are some trails in the Post Canyon/Post Flats area that are inaccessible. Maybe as part of the fire line they prepared. Part of it is somewhat visible from the Post Flats staging area. Trails that seemed affected are 116, 130, 112L, 110, and maybe parts of 130.

On Sunday, the FS guy at Post Flats did not have any details on when these areas might be accessible again.
