LittlePosum and I would like to invite you come and ride close to our home in Idaho August 16-19, 2018. Why not, we live in a beautiful area.

I have reserved 5 campsites for the nights of Thursday-Saturday at Spring Creek Campground in the Payette National Forest. https://www.recreation.gov/camping/...oundDetails.do?contractCode=NRSO&parkId=74031

    https://goo.gl/maps/qABJW5GBUiC2

I have also reserved the day use area there for Friday, Saturday and Sunday so it can be used as a communal area.
There are pit toilets and drinking water available on site.

All you need to bring is YOU, and maybe something to sleep on and drink other than water. Yeah you're on your own with that stuff.

WHAT Posum and I will bring. Breakfast and dinner for the first 25 in’s. Multiple large coolers that you can put your food and beverages in, I will keep them stocked with ice, and a large camp stove that will be available to use. I'll have my pickup there and am willing to do beer/ice runs, but I think we can handle that with the bikes. We will also have trash cans and will pack out the trash for you.

There is a Restaurant and a small country store 15-20 minutes from the campground. Mann Creek Cafe. They only have a FB site https://m.facebook.com/manncreekcafe/
Depending on which way you go, Weiser, Cambridge, and Gateway Idaho are about 25 miles away for other supplies, fuel, or resturants.

You can ride in or drive in. There will be limited parking for Trucks/campers, so let me know if you’re planning on bringing one.
There’s lots of riding for ADV bikes, DualSport bikes, and Idaho Single Track for dirt bikes right from camp.

With the 5 sites I reserved, there should be enough room for about 20 riders with 4 riders per campsite, BUT there are several more first come first served sites as well. If there's demand for it, we can snag a few of them earlier in the week. There's also tons of dispersed camping to be had.

Any questions just ask! We will have routes with GPX tracks a couple of weeks before and paper maps at camp with highlighted routes for those that want them. Or, just explore on your own!
There will be different routes for all bikes big and small.

    Hope you can make it!!!

This is an event for the ADVRider community. Please DO NOT post this or share this rally on any Facebook groups. Thank You.

Here’s a few pics of the area. The first two are within 2 miles of camp the third is about 5 miles futhur.
I’ll dig up some single track photos later.
Camp itself is in the forest.

Interested. How much single track? I've been wanting to get the dirtbike to Idaho for some time now.

From camp roughly a 15 mile loop. But just north there is more on Cuddy Mountain. Part of my goal this summer is to connect the two.

There are a lot of riding areas to hit along the way there and back too, this is sounding like a good idea :) Are there more trails within an hour or so drive from camp?

Oh yeah! Here’s the immediate area. Camp is just south of Sturgil Peak and Cuddy Mountain is north of Highway 71(the red line). North to south in this area is probably 50 miles. Single Track is the broken yellow dashes. ATV trails are the dots. There’s more then it looks like. I haven’t been on all of them in 3 years so there’s plenty for a weekend.

Can you post up info on the campsite? Pics etc if possible. It would be good to look it up.

I'm interested, I've never rode this area. I'll watch the thread, not sure on big bike or small. I'm sure they'd both be fun...

That’s why I started now. It looks like there will be enough interest. As long as I think a dozen or more will show up I’ll reserve the site.
