Ok, here's the deal. This is the Iowa connector from Siegs Trans MO. River Ride (TMORR) to the Trans WI. Adventure Ride (TWAT). So now you can ride from the southern Arkansas border to Lake Superior by way of the TART - TMOT (There are two TMOTs, BigDog's TMOT and Basher's TMOT) - TMORR - IEAT - TWAT.
Siegs TMORR ends in Houghton Ia. where it connects to the Trans Iowa Trail (TIT) . I have connected the IEAT to his tracks in northern Mo. thru Iowa to the TWAT. The TIT is adventure loop here in Iowa.
The IEAT is big bike compatible . I tried to keep it mostly on gravel roads but there is some scenic highway. There is a few level B roads that are basically dirt roads so if has rained enter at your own risk. 20170511_145510.jpg
The IEAT intersects the TIT in a few places so you can be creative with your own adventure. When you get to Dubuque the track will jump on 4 lane for about 12 miles or so but it is the quickest way to connect to the TWAT in Dickeyeville Wi. There is plenty of gas along the way, at least every 50 miles or so. If you have been in Iowa you know that our grave roads are basically straight grid roads,I have tried to keep it interesting as I could.
The gpx file has Siegs TMORR , the connector to get to the IEAT, the TIT tracks, and the TWAT tracks. ENJOY!

Yeah those B roads can be like that. I remember making the TIT route and getting the KLR so buried I was nearly convinced I had found quick sand. After dragging it to the grass on the side of the road I still could not ride it. The mud was so packed it locked up the rear wheel and the motor could not turn it. After getting it dug out, I never get out of the grass until I was off that road. My buddies and I skipped a few after that until we found a spot where it looked a bit more dry. While Frank and I sat there trying to decide if we should try it my brother-inlaw went ripping by yelling come on you pussies! 50 ft later he face planted in the muck. Laughed so hard I almost pissed!

Thinking about heading south from Dubuque later this month for a vacation, this looks like a good time.
