I wish I had an extra 1500 laying around
Hopefully this means the end of the "special" bike that can't stand up by itself...
New Pro-Moto aluminum kickstand....
And it sounds so good! FI remapped to the hard hitting GYTR map setting.
Won’t all that extra weight slow down your lap times?
How’s everybody been doing? Anybody want to buy a 990 Super Duke? I’ll be heading to MS over Christmas break; can deliver. .
I’ve really been missing the dirt end of things. Would you believe that one eventually tires of endless twisty pavement? Who knew .
The weight is all on one side so my left turns will be better but on rights I may have to fight it more...
Works for dirt track and NASCAR.
We’ve been ripping every Saturday at Satartia Bluffs trails. Awesome rides every Saturday! Everyone leaves whipped and feeling fulfilled of dirtbike riding.
Finally got around to editing and uploading videos from 2017 (don't) Fall Rally...
I rode the Delta Hill Loop gps track yesterday, and came across 3 issues with the original track. There is a small loop on the most northern part of the track that appears to go through oil well property. It's not gated, but there are plenty of signs. The second was a closed bridge after you leave Bentonia going south. It was passable on a bike, but there are "road closed" signs approaching it. The third was a small segment of the original track that crossed private property. There was a gate and signs marking this. There is a detour that is all gravel and very scenic. Here's a link to a google map that you can view the locations of these as well as download my tracks. One more thing, there was a sign on the SW leg that said "End County Maintenance." I don't know if it was a private road or not, but it wasn't gated and there were no signs. Here's a google map of my track with all of this marked.
And part II:
Who else went for a snow ride???
Nope. Although I finally did get my XTZ750 plated
24,000 mile service complete... gonna be ready to travel now!!!
Finally got working lights in the Triumph sign, too!!
Nice crack in the floor, hope it's just that and not walls/foundations. Oh and before I forget, nice bike
Floor is not structural. It was filled in after building was finished by previous owner. It appears they didn't do enough site prep before building.... too much clay around building. Crack changes with weather and seasons... but it is a good place to collect lost 10mm sockets...
Good lord all this for a valve cover and exhaust cam sensor oring oil leak.
Belly of the beast which BTW is not a easy girl to wrench on. Kawasaki shame on you this is a terrible designed bike.
Changing the spark plugs while at it since all this has to come off just to access them anyway. Coolant change as well which looks easy now that the whole bike is apart.
FWIW all this happened with less than 6k miles on it. I let it leak for the last 6k miles. Bike has right at 12,700 on it. Unacceptable if you ask me to be leaking this early anywhere.
What it is suppose to look like.
Sorry for your troubles, I have newfound respect for my KLR.
Did google instal an @backwoodsKLR finder?
