Ummm, no. Just a letter saying that I should have ensured that it was packed better, and their sorry they couldn't deliver the parcel this time.

Complaint lodged, and Louis advised. Hopefully they come to the party.

    Ikea flat packed ?

i ordered from them as well. The helmet was in its original box, inside a generic plain box like that one. It looks like someone in the in either aus post or dhl has helped themselves and then forwarded on the folded up cardboard box. Weird.

There is a parcel waiting for me, but I'm interstate ATM, hopefully it contains more than a letter this time. Will be back home next week.

Excellent, now all you need to do is order a new KLIM peak so it doen't rattle and vibrate on your helmet....almost their mate..

Klim peak must be very popular and is still out of stock.

Looks Good... better than the flat pack one before. How is the sizing?

    My initial pre-ride thoughts:

Sizing - my head is quite oval, Shoei fits me well, best fitting helmets for me are Bell. The Nishua feels a little less oval than either of those, sizing in medium is correct.

Construction - the shell is beautiful! And super light (the sticker even says so). The cheek pads are quite firm, and firmer than I remember the Klim Krios being. Unfortunately the skullcap is not one of those seamless 3D foam ones that you will find in higher end helmets, and there are seams present, and for me this might be a deal breaker. A seam presses across the front of my head, painful after about 15 minutes. Might be able to fix with a thin layer of foam. I tried a cut up thin foldable stubbie holder, and this might be ok.

Visor and Peak: Cheesy! There is no fancy hinge mechanism, or fancy quick release system, just a bayonet that turns 90 degrees to lock. There is some free play on one side which hopefully I can get rid of with a layer of tape. I'd hope the Klim is better! And as mentioned previously by others, the first detent is too large, opening the visor by about a cm, not just a crack. The peak is very flimsy.

The shell quality seems good, but the rest of the construction seems a bit below par.

Hopefully I can mitigate the seam pain, or this lid might become an expensive spare.

The helmet for that price is not the carbon version, but had the internal sun visor...

Perhaps a little tight if a seam is giving you issues.
I would not call the visor cheap, simple yes, but not cheap. Simple and easy to take off and clean. The supplied Pin Lock is fantastic.

    Still very happy with mine.

I came from an XD4 to this helmet and very happy for the price and the weight is fantastic.

I've worn the helmet all night at home with a thin foam over the seam causing me issue, and no more pain. Just need to affix it. :bandit

Yes it is the carbon one. They are on special all German winter. 168 euro down from 252 or something. Best helmet for that money by light years. Still loving mine.
