It was a good day. Realized on the way home how much it helped to just sit an shoot the shit.
some times that's all that's needed.
How are you liking that Tiger? Thinking about heading that direction from my DL1000.
It's just what the doctor ordered
here is what I wrote in the tiger thread:
"oh - and wtf guys? Riding that bike is like cheating. totally forgiving, easy to ride, waaaay too smooth. Even shows you the gear you are in I am used to flogging the old crap I owned. "
Thanks for coming by yesterday. I feel worlds better today
and now get your damn bike fixed so we can putt' around some more!
Great pics and congrats on the new tigger - that bike never fails to bring smiles. The Tiger forum here is a fantastic resource btw.
Welcome to the club, enjoy.
18 states and 5 rallies in the last 12 months. I love this thing.
Only 18 states? I've been in 23 in the last 12 months.
Thank doG I'm planning a Canada trip next summer on my Tiger AFTER the RDV .
I need a New England trip next year.
Meet me in NH next July and we can hit everything in New England to Newfoundland.
beautiful day for a ride + pending on the altitude peak season for the fall foliage = good day!
for the folks familiar with the area, that was today's route:
Big Laurel - Revere - Hot Springs - 209 - 63 - South Turkey - Hooker Gap - 257 - BRP - 151 - Wedge - River Road - Jupiter - Barnardsville....
and something different.... 250 Suzuki
BTW I can flat foot the XC- one foot at a time
late lunch/early dinner at the wedge...
Andy pushed that little bike pretty hard all day
We did many of the same roads Saturday. I told the young lady at the Big Laurel coffee store how much I appreciated her being there. Nothing like some good coffee in the afternoon when you're starting to fade a little.
Nice Pics BTW. It seems some of the best color is found on these side roads where the skinny young trees are reaching for the sun. I'm hoping the winds expected later this week with the cold front don't blow them all off the trees.
Feel like my ridding partner is cheating on me... sigh. So glad you had a good day on the bike. It may be early spring before I'm back on the bike.
Well, sorry . I can't wait all fall and winter for you, a girl has needs....
At least she didn't ride right by YOUR driveway.
Ha I'm guilty of that to...
I did look over to the fd if you are there.... and I am not tackling your driveway till I get the bike a bit lower
get your damn bike fixed!
Though about coming out on the 450, sometime soon.
Was playing there last week, you have to include Lonesome Mtn, with Revere though! Ran paint fork rather than 197, figured all the rain would have washed more than usual sand on 197. Accomplished my goal to wear out my tires so I could put new ones on before my spring trip down there, in fact a little too good, had to replace the front as it was bald as a baby's butt, with 3 days left to ride.
