That was some good BBQ. Also a great place for some motorcyclists to gather with lots of outdoor seating.
Good times indeed! I enjoyed the company and the food was wonderful.
That was fun. We need to get together more often.
If anyone is still watching this thread.
Everyone is invited to the pre-party for the TC to KC BBQ Run at 6:30 on September 28th at The Downtown Peanut
If not familiar with the BBQ run, I don't know where you have been but you can read about it here: http://advrider.com/index.php?threa...run-2017-9-29-to-10-1-doing-it-large.1200695/
It is not BBQ but it is good!

Tonight is the night.
Kansas City has some great places to eat. Some of my favorite:
Arthur Bryant's: the original location on Baltimore, best original KC BBQ
Jack Stack BBQ: in Martin City, best BBQ beans anywhere
Gate's BBQ: where burnt ends were invented
Jess and Jim's: great steaks, in Martin City. Try the "Playboy Strip"
Stroud's: great famous chicken and steaks, homestyle served, up North off I-35
The Savoy Grill: steaks and seafood $$$$
The Jazz: great Cajun, I highly recommend the Crawfish Etoufee with added shrimp while listening to Blues.
Garozzo's: Italian, you've got to try the Chicken Spiedini
You left out Cafe' Provence.
A nice Soufflé every now and again breaks up the monotony;
Finish off with Crêpe Banane et Noisette;
Cafe de Ami is pretty good, too.
BTW, Mike, I'm going to have to name my new Guzzi "Raise".
I have not been to Café des Amis, and I like Parkville.
I'm early, had an errand that didn't take as long as I anticipated.
Last night, at the peanut, was a small but very intelligent group that showed up. We solved many of the worlds problems in only a hour. All we need now is for the less intelligent group (politicians) listen to us.
I like cake.
That is news to me.
Well I suggest you take it on board and act accordingly.
Gates is the McDonald's of BBQ joints in KC...
What about some BBQ?
