I destroyed that one pressure washing my house. Didn't like the running for extended periods of time. Blew the motor on that one, usually I fry the pumps first

I hear you. I'm looking at all of them from Walmart and Amazon...Costco. I don't want gas.

There is pretty much nothing in the way of quality. Looks like the best you can do is buy cheap and buy often...

For anyone that hasn't been to Moab....you gotta go...

And, don't peek too much, let it be a bit of a surprise the first time. I avoided an excessive amount of scouting the area and found it too vastly exceed my high expectations.

Ok, I got my game plan figured out. If that box in my conference room from "BP" isn't a pressure washer...he knows I want one. A pressure washer, not him...

Ok, so if I buy one, I'm going to buy one at a store that annoyingly shoves those stupid warranty deals at you at the time of purchase. Because I know these are all made like crap and will not possibly survive me, let alone my wife who is mega OCD handheld apparatus freak. (She destroys a vacuum cleaner every 9 months!)

I’ve used it for walkways and patios but never more than an hour or so. Oh well I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s paid itself off by now.

Are those Starcross 5's working out okay? I sure hope so.

Apparently the cool kids are using Maxxis SI radial front, and Dunlop trials tire or Shinko trail tire (also radials) in the back. That's a pretty narrow focus imo.

Hope you're loving the new bike

I've been all over Moab a for a couple of "Easter Jeep Safari" weeks with my sons when they were younger in my heavily modified Jeep CJ-7 that I used to own.

Never been over any of it on a bike though.

It is indeed, breath taking, one of a kind country...I absolutely love it.

They are holding up remarkably well, way better than I thought they would.

My biggest hiccup with the Starcross was on muddier conditions, not sure if that was the tires fault completely, but not a confidence building experience either. The other issue was the lack of side bite on a grass track we were racing on. It was early morning, and Im not sure if if the grass was wet due to the high temps/humidity or again the tires fault. My old 500 with Trakmasters was having the same issue, I was still able to hold him off till we got to the woods. Tires worked great everywhere else

I like the 18, but I still like my 15 betterer. Still sorting it out

Well, it's definitely a bucket list kind of thing, but it's very obvious once you are there, that at least half of the people that are there at any given time are there on an annual guys trip type thing. I spent 6 nights there, a few nights at the Red Stone Inn, which was cheap, in the middle of the town and while the room was small it was clean and very well kept. Outdoors it had a nice bbq area and the people that worked there were great. I'd stay there the next time for sure. The Motel 6 otoh was one of the worst lodging experiences of my life. What a shit hole.

But next time I'm going, gonna save up all the money in my couch and get at least a couple nights at the Winery. Damn that place is nice, and the dining area looks fantastic.

But, fact is, I didn't have a bad meal or an overpriced one for that matter in Moab. The Moab brewery was pretty damn cool, but I was super impressed with all of the restaurants I went too. The only business in Moab I was disappointed in? The KTM dealer was uber lame, with bad service, totally disinterested in any business. Meanwhile the Poison Spyder bike shop was amazing, great people and cool stuff to buy.

Can't wait to get back to Moab...

But before I get there, lots of miles..... the first big stop is visiting all my cool friends at The Snake Pit @TheWolf , and then a true bucket list item....Baja with the Terminators...
