Tool boxes are complicated, this is like a safe space for me...
I didn’t know you owned any gyms.
All your gyms are belonged to jack daniels
All your edit are belong to me
My 95 Silverado is still going. I like the regular size 8' bed for getting building materials, the extended cab for indoor cargo, and the 4wd for snow and field work.
Yeah but wait till Kynzie drags out his naked Kats and Ladiboyz. It's all fun and games until someone ends up wearing a cone
That 1988-1997 era GM C/K pickups were quite possibly the best they ever made
My 2009 Chevy (Daewoo, Korean throw away car) Aveo 5 hatchback, 1.6 liter, 5 speed, with zero frills will haul 8' lumber inside with the hatch closed. Owned it since new, 218,000 or so miles on it now. Needed a cam phaser replaced (factory flawed parts) around 70,000 miles, but I didn't do it until 114,000ish. It needed front brakes and a tie rod end at around 172,000 miles, it gets oil changes every 10,000 miles or so, stretched out to 15-18,000 a few times. A few sets of tires. Starts no problem in -30 F, original battery. With snow tires, it gets me anywhere and everywhere I need to go through northern MN winters (cold and snow). I hate this reliable piece of shit, it won't die and release me from my misery. Last I checked, NADA trade in value was -$350...yes, that is negative $350.
Who needs a truck? (I do.)
Made me laugh. I know, I've carried countless lumber sticks and 21' piping in my Datsun B210 hatchback, getting over 300,000 miles with 30k oil changes. I put a 55 gallon drum in it and closed the hatch.
But try carrying 22 pieces of 4x8 half inch cement board. Heck, try carrying just one. Ain't happening. Sheetrock maybe on the roof but tricky. 1200 ft2 of ceramic tile?
Truck is handy for carrying heavy loads particularly when they need a full flat surface to rest on. Not so much for the consistent 13mpg fuel consumption though.
What? Ford makes the only real trucks! Dodge, owned by Fiat meow... GM, well Government Motors. Kidding, like all the trucks. Once home off this 90 day vacation I want to put a 501 or more likely a 701 in it.
Got rid of my DRW for this a few months back.
Really digging the thread, you'll get the 100 pages.
as long as its a truck & it runs, its 'aight in my book....
Should I be alarmed that my cat learned how to take selfies with my phone, or should I be more scared that he sent me an email of the selfie ??
For the real big & heavy stuff, I have...a Grand Caravan and utility trailer.
By the way here's my boy and a dog:
Coolness! He looks like a cute star wars fan. I have a grand caravan and a utility trailer too. Neither currently registered but used em a bunch. (almost 300k on the GC still works)
