For those that have it, is it worth the extra cash? Are the features good enough? How much does it cost? Most of the dealers I ask give me different prices.

Maybe a bit more information will make the replies easier.

What bike are you looking at?

Worked good for me with Sena 20s some learning curve but I love it !

Pricing? Not sure as I got it as part of the travel pack but would do it again

Lots of room for growth with it can't wait to see what can be done in the future on it

If you get it as part of the travel pack, sure. But as a stand alone feature it's not worth it. Once they integrate navigation maybe. But all it really does for you now is let you control your music and answer a call.

I got it with the Travel Pack for $450. I actually have not used that feature of the Travel Pack due to the negative experiences others were having. I have a Sena and connect directly to my phone. I was waiting for the next software upgrade then figured I would give it a shot.

And even that in a very limited way, previous, next, play, pause and volume.
No scrolling through your library let alone playlists.
And indeed just answering calls, not making calls.
My Zumo 590 has way more features...

    I say not worth it.

I grabbed it with the travel pack as well. It was worth it to me only in that if they ever do get Navagation casting from phones to work, I'll have it.

Found out that if you only get the MY Ride its $98 dollars,, you get to pair the phone and access to your music with the hand grip controls.

You save significantly if you buy the travel pack.

As I said above, both of those functions are very limited.
You can only receive calls, not make calls or browse your contacts.
You can listen to music but not select playlist or browse you library or anything so for music you might just as well pair you phone directly to your headset.

So you cant change the songs by the buttons on the handlebar? Are you able to see the songs name or anything? I'm thinking on getting my money back then since they have not installed it yet.

You can see song names and change songs using arrow key when you get it to work. I've been able to connected my phone a handful of times in the last 3 months now it won't even pair.
    Hopefully update will sort it.

    What he said.
You do see the songs title and you CAN change the song but only to the next or previous one in the playlist you've started playing on your phone, manually.
I think it's actually pretty poor functionality.

Will be getting a 1290 SAR next week and added the travel pack. I was looking on the app store for my iphone and I don't see a my ride app. Do I need to download a app to my phone to get the my ride features?

No. The basic features work without the app. But future turn by turn navigation requires it.
