a friend and i carried the bike out with the wheels off. another time i just pushed, cursed and pushed some more up the stairs. 3 people would be good for this
expensive, but cheaper than a garage.
Yeah thats what i have but it's 10 steps down into the basement.

I changed her name to Visa because..”she’s everywhere you want to be”.
I changed my buddy's tires in the comfort of my basement last week while it was barely above zero degrees and it made me want bilco doors. I'm sure they ain't cheap - especially with my cast-in-place concrete basement walls.
I used to keep my bikes in my apartment. The bikes and a bed, I miss the simple life.

I must have got the wrong flap. mine did not have that cutout your has to match the skid plate hole, and it was a bunch of wrong directions. does your use nut insert rivets to mount plastic part or just bolts and nuts?
i have a walk out basement, its 3 steps down. i put a french door in a few weeks back, now both street bike and dirt bike live down there.
i think basements make the best moto garages, a little more secure then a real garage and its stays decent down there year round
There was no matching skid plate holes. I had to drill them. They give you a template.
God damn it this is fun stuff!
I take it your sold on the 2T three hundy by now...
Only time will tell but judging by the grin factor this is going to be an entirely different riding season for me.
You two have the perfect singletrack bikes now. Singletrack. Singletrack. Singletrack! Next think you know, you two will be trying enduros. Careful though, it's all addictive...and expensive.
AND- Putting this out there. 2018 there are three ECEA Hare Scrambles at/near RAC- Frackville / Mahoney City / Tamaqua.
Last year a bunch of us did the Frackville one and we had a blast. I think they are great to start with. Race starts at 10- its over by 11:30-12. And then we all hang out and watch the A/B race at 1. If you do the HS and don't like it or get tired - just finish the lap and call it a day (unlike an Enduro which is an all day affair).
I hope we can get a crew again this year and do these races- just for shits and giggles and to hang out etc.
Jerry Mahoney City...
Once I get some seat time which is hard to come by lately I’ll probably try a hare scramble. Mrs probably not so much. I told her though.. I didn’t get these bikes to tool around on double track all day. Every time we’re out this season we’re going to work on whatever ST we can find.. as long as I don’t scare her away from it all we should both improve greatly this year.
Do the easier ST out toward the Pines/Western end of RAC out by Valley road parking...
You will love it. I hadn’t raced motocross in 23 years and did a tri cross hare scramble this year.
A couple of things:
I didn’t realize how big the jumps had gotten on the motocross track. It takes a lap or two to get settled down mentally.
I didn’t realize how challenging an endurocross section was. They don’t look like much. Just logs and tires until they get all rutted up and you are riding at race pace with bikes all around you.
Will I do more this year...Hell yes.
I had a blast. You won’t believe how fast a one hour moto goes by when you are having that much fun.
