My ride, 2017 R1200 GS Rally with all the bells and whistles. Just swapped out the stock tires with Metzeler Karoo 3. Planning a San Diego to Boston ride next summer and then up to Canada.
See you out on the road!
Love the Rallye's.
Can you see it?
I parked my XR in a cave down by the river when we stopped while on a plated ride.
It's cool inside.
Ruta 40 south of La Leona, Santa Cruz Province, Argentina. November 2017.
Took a break from the off-road to snag a deal I couldn't pass up on this 2006 Monster S2R1000.
Very nice! Looks clean.
Yeah guy bought it in 2009 with 6000 miles, put 1500 miles on it and sold it to me month or so ago. Been commuting to base every day on it, only let me down once when I hadn't ridden in a week cause of rain + freezing temps. Tried to start it at 6am when it was 33 outside and it peacefully protested me that day.
Italians prefer sunny days and Cafe Americanos.
So I've learned. Adapted reasonably well to Virginia and she'll be in San Diego starting December so it'll be ok

45 degrees early morning rip.
Rode from Tegucigalpa to Lago de Yojoa today. It's the first time I've been out of the city in a few months and also the first time I've given the Benelli a proper thrashing. It just finished the break in period. Dozens of 60-70mph sweepers through a number of mountain passes. Bliss.
What did you shoot those beautiful close-ups with @achtung3 ? Fancy camera? Smartphone ... with attachment? (I just bought a cheapo set of smartphone lenses - super wide, wide and close-up - for a present. :)
I've heard good things about these new smartphones, (didn't have a smartphone until last month- I just learned how to use the camera on the phone- too cumbersome)
This time I used a canon 5d MK 3 with a 100mm macro. I normally use my cheapo casio point and shoot and it comes out real good.
Here is one with Casio Exilim camera
