It's bad there. No one should go. It'll drive the prices up. :KLR

Don't want it to get like Yogi Berra said about Coney Island: "Nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded".

We were riding in 70 degree weather in February at nearly 45 degrees of north latitude. Not "haha" funny but very strange funny. English is funny like that.

Been waiting for it to melt since the last storm (Thursday), thus far my windshield is still covered and the snow on the ground has only melted down to the level of my running boards. By Tuesday I need to leave the house, not very hopeful it will be gone by then. I might have to clear off the truck myself!

Met up with Mr. & Mrs. @Buffalorides again in San Luis Potosí. We then rode to the abandoned then revived mining town of Real De Catorce. Accessible by a 15 mile stone road and 3 km mining tunnel.

Good afternoon all, I just wanted to share something fun. TINMAN 207 recently purchased a "new to him" 2010 FJR 1300 and as his habit, he talked about what to call it. Currently he owns `RED` ( V Strom 650 ) , `BLUE` ( V Strom 650 ) and ` DR2` ( DR 650 made from two motorcycles ).

I thought about it for awhile and suggested ` FERNANDO JOSE RODRIGOUS' ( FJR ). As expected, he wrinkles his nose, and said NO.

Today, he was researching people's names, looking for one that means `TRAVELER` ... and what pops in the list ? YUP - FERNANDO ! LOL !

`FERNANDO` is of German origin and means Brave Traveler. Anyone who knows TINMAN 207, will know there is no other name that could be more perfect for him. I laughed out loud when hearing the meaning behind the name I playfully suggested and of course, suggested I won the naming of the new addition to his stable . The jury is still out on this verdict ....

I would like to formally welcome Fernando to our little nuthouse. :-)

I feel like I should log some "test" miles before passing a final verdict on the name, tho. Let me know when you need my expert opinion........

So ... has it stopped snowing yet at your place and how much did you get?

According to tonight's weather we have 23" with just a little more to come. I didn't plow the last storm because ...it's March, how long could it take to melt? So add another 6-8 inches that was already in my driveway. I think the Polaris is going to get a workout in the morning.

Only one more week until Spring!

Yup, still snowing... But I had to dig out so that the @ladyj and I could get to work. When will that lottery thing bless this house so that play can be a more important reason to dig out? [IMG][IMG]

    Lol!
I'm still not sold on this "Fernando" thing (well, the name anyhow) but if it ever stops snowing long enough for me to go GET the darned thing I will be a lot happier! It is still in Derry, NH.

Should that day ever happen @justdrew I would be happy to help you develop an opinion

That was what it looked like transitioning from our entryway on to the patio. Snow was most of 2' above the entry floor and the patio is down a foot. We did not get much more over night and it settled very quickly during the day with snow having been 6" above the bow rail of the boat and dropping to a couple inches below by mid afternoon. So next we will get down to single digit temperatures over the weekend then warm up for next Tuesday's 'Noreaster!
