Begins Friday, March 9 and ends Sunday, March 11, 2018. 2 nights camping and 4 meals are included in your $135 registration fee. Beer, water, and non alcoholic beverages will be included until they run dry. Also included are door prize opportunities and great camaraderie among GS Giants! All makes/models are welcome.

Vendor, BlackSwanMoto, will be offering two sessions of training: Rider Intensive. Friday Noon – 4pm, and Saturday 8am – Noon.
Rider Intensive is designed around the GS Giant Challenge Course and promotes specific skillsets and specialized practical instruction for the informed rider.
Specially designed curriculum exclusive to this event makes the most of the timeframe and the SongDog locale.
Space is limited to 15 riders per session! Note: There IS a fee for this training and it is NOT included in your March Moto Madness registration cost.

If you wish to register for this additional training, please do so directly at the BlackSwan site by following the link below:
    https://squareup.com/store/blackswanmoto

A note about camping: There is cold water only available. No electric. No showers. There is no additional fee for RV's but the entrance is very steep. Caution is advised, especially for longer rigs. There are NO RV hookups.

Early arrivals can be accommodated on Thursday for a $10 camping fee. No food or drink will be available Thursday night, so please bring your own if arriving early. GS Giants have put it together again - check it out and register now here: http://mms.gsgiants.com/Calendar/moreinfo_responsive.php?eventid=8994&org_id=GSGI

The timing and location of the rally fit right in to my schedule but I don't know anything about it. I looked at the website and didn't see much information. Are there organized group rides on Saturday and/or Sunday? What type of events are there in addition to the training classes?

They make organized rides as well as provide routes. They prefer at least 2-3 min in a group. Meeting starts immediately so you may find yourself in a group pretty quickly.
The organized rides are typically talked about during dinner and there's no sign up, just show up to the particular designated spot (ex. Meet at sena sign)
If somehow you are never approached, just ask, you'll find a group :-)

Hope to make it, been going to Song Dog for 30 years but don't know if work will comply with the days off. When do you need registration for meal count?

It's not a huge event like other BMW Rallys so each year is different. Last year the only competition was a Timed riverbed race.

Understandable. I won't know until the last minute if I can take off. Can I come late and just pay for the event less meals?

Unfortunately there's no tier registration but you can show up Friday and pay registration at that time, on site. They are giving a head count, of those registered, to the ranch this Saturday, that's why registration ends this Friday. They do add a few to the headcount for those that may show up last minute.
FYI: Saturday morning arrival is not preferable since routes and group rides have already been made and leave between 8am-9am Saturday morning.

I'd just register now and show up when you can, cause it's a blast! But that's me cause I'm less than 2hrs away

Hey, thanks. Is Rev doing the meals? I would like to come down, we'll see how it goes. I've pretty much ridden every road and dirt road in that area, plus most of the trails at Ballinger. Just love to camp at SD.

Jim has prepared the meals (2 breakfasts/2 dinners) the last 2 MMMs, and is the Chef this year as well according to the GS Giant website.

Was a great weekend - rain and all! Got a good 3-4 hours of riding in Saturday before rain came in around 2:00. Then back at the ranch, racked out on bunkhouse floor next to potbelly stove. Cozy.

Once again great meals for bfast and dinner - and great people, riding, camping.
