Its been a few years but I believe all you need is the vin and possibly the engine number.

You are talking about OHM stickers and not really wanting OHV stickers correct?

Pays your money and walk out with stickers, 1 sticker required on the plate if a plated bike or 2 stickers on the fork legs or where ever indicated on the back of the sticker.

The gathering spot/campground for the Huntersville ride is directly behind the Outpost in the large open field adjacent the metal building, Looking to be another wet weekend.:hmmmmm

I am not positive, but that looks like a photo that Mike Pohl took. He passed away while riding at Akeley. :cry

Rode Miller Hills a couple weeks ago after seeing it on the website. Some nice ATV trails and plenty of really tight single track. Definitely a challenge and somewhat of a struggle for me personally. But, it was great fun and I'm grateful for yet another option for off-road riding in Minnesota. We will be back! Thanks to Crow Wing county and Northern Lites Trail Riders association......

Looking like the last couple of decent days to get out and ride before it turns to winter in Mn.

Are any of the trail riding areas open?

Yes the MN state forest trails are open.

I rode Nemadji last weekend. There was snow on the ground, ice covered all of the puddle's on the trail and parts of the road were completely slick with ice. It was the most challenging riding I have done there.

Then Monday I tried to ride at some trail I cut on my property and it was a 1/2" of greasy mud atop frozen ground. Very slick and basically unrideable.

So while the weather seems decent the trails aren't going to be much fun. YMMV

Hmmm guess I figured the trails would be in better shape.
    Thanks for the ride report

St Croix SF, Chengwatana, CC Andrews, Nemadji, Martineau, and Huntersville are open, The southern trails ie Snake Crk, Trout Valley are closed Nov 1-May 1, From boardrider247's trail report something sandy like Huntersville might be rideable maybe not. There was a group from TT that was suppose to ride Huntersville last weekend but I never heard if they did or not.

Rode there yesterday, weather was perfect, ground was a little greasy but great fun.

No snow, but some frozen ground in the woods without much sun exposure.

Anyone get up to the Paul Bunyan State Forest trails much? Really want to get up there more this season, wish it wasn't so far away. The club up there does a great job with the trails, and providing solid maps and such. Pretty fortunate to have an area with that many OHM-dedicated miles in the State...

I usually only get up there once or twice a year(fall club ride) I would probably go more if I had someone to ride with I don't much like riding solo.

Trying hard to figure out some weekends myself. It's tough at my stage of life. I've got kids going to summer camp in early August. That might be my best window...

I emailed a couple of questions to the club up there and got a quick, friendly response. Seems like a well-run organization. They are looking to increase their membership, wish I was able to get involved.

I'm headed to Nemadji tomorrow mid-afternoon and maybe a few hours Saturday morning. Riding solo. Plan on mostly single track. Open to riding with others, if interested let me know.
