Yes sir, may I have some MOAR sir, PLEASE!!!!!

It's time to start a thread for this years MOAR (Mother of All Rides).

    Date: July 18

    Route for ride:

Start at Ted's Place (Highway 287/14), Kickstands up at 5:30am
Kelly Flats (FR 168) at sunrise (up Bypass or Heart Attack)
Manhatten road (CR 162) to Bald Mtn road (FR517)
    Bald Mountain road (FR517)
    Top segment of KillPecker (TR956)
    Nunn Creek Basin (FR177)
Green Ridge Trail (FR177) (If not open, we will take Deadman to Laramie River Road)
Highway 14 to Gould for lunch at the Drifters Cookhouse

Calamity Pass Road (CR121/FR740) to Teller City
FR 758 to Jack Park Trail (TR1186)
    Trail 1228 to Road 750.

Single track loop around the entire Synder Creek Basin. The route reflects the latest knowledge on roads closed due to logging operations.

Single track & ATV trail in the Stillwater Area. Connect with Highway 34 at Lake Granby.

Return over Trail Ridge Road (RMNP)
Dinner & Beers at Estes Park Brewery (food served until 10pm)

Sound like enough, or do we need MOAR?

Plan on starting before sunrise(5:46am), and finishing well after sunset(8:25pm).

Start location & time: Ted's Place (junction hwy 287 & hwy 14), kickstands up at 5:30am.

Range: Plan on 100-150 miles for the longest stretch between fill ups. Gas at Ted's Place, Gould KOA, and Grand Lake.

Format: 3-4 person teams. Have a well prepared bike and be equipped to handle any flats or other malfunctions.

Radios: If you have an FRS/GMRS radio, use channel 7-27.

Awesome Date for the Ride Jeff!

May I suggest Pierson Park and Johnny Park to cap it off, Beer at Oscar Blues.

Although this would suck for the Ft. Collins folks by shooting past hwy-34. I guess that is probably not so good.

    Just a thought.

Not sure the MOAR has ever had any support, but I am willing to sag for the ride. Though maybe that would be too soft for this crew...

Last year, we at T-team almost had a Mascot. You can read about it in last years MOAR report. Judging by your unique expertise at holding drill bits we would be proud to offer you the job:D

no pay, no benefits, no 401k, no free coffee, but we have a great sexual harassment policy that all team members are required to participate in!

I forgot to mention that I have qualifications. Sagged for 5MOH and brought COLD beers in a soft cooler with blue ice to the east end before the crazy fookers turned around and did the danged thing again!

I had one beer left...thought about sticking around for another group of four or five I knew was on the way to see what kind of $$ I could get. :lol3

Given the number of broken bikes last year, this might be a very good thing. You have also demonstrated your prowess at working with emergency personel. Having a sag to bring gas cans would elminate some of the fuel concerns.

I'll join your circus if there is a spot for me. Will you have Jarrod back in time for this? I'd like to have the same team if we can get it together.

My truck became a sag last year, Paula can use it if we need it.

It looks like I need a KLR with bald tires for this one. Leave the camel back at home to save weight too.:evil

    In on the 250EXC

I'd like to throw some cash towards the sag wagon expenses and beer fund for the opportunity to stash my gas can aboard. I'm gonna need it :nod

I want to ride another MOAR. You skeered me away last year but

    not this year !!!

I have not really been riding (way too much going on at work) but I watched Ned's video again.

Will there be any bailout options?
Like riding whatever the swamp creek cutoff cuts off?

Is there a team that would put up with me?

Oh yeah, I'm in, definitely!! Sounds like a nice route choice, too!! Now, provided I get the lighting figured out on the YZ250.....which bike to use?? LMAO!

Shearboy, I'll ride with ya anytime! That is, as long as it's not that boulder filled nasty section of hell we hit 2 years ago on the Dakar 650's, at the end of the day no less!!

WTF?!?!? A 2-stroke? Half the purpose is to ride some heavy pig through entirely inappropriate trails on a route that covers about 3 days worth of trail riding.

OTOH, maybe I know someone who would loan me a DR350 for the day. :evil
