Got together with two of my buds today to celebrate Mother's Day. Mike on a Suzuki DR650, Chris on a BMW 1200GS, and me on my KTM 950.

I was their fearless leader for the day. Fearless for me, not so fearless for them. No one got injured, that I know of. The largest amount of bike damage came from the wind blowing Mike's Suzuki over in the parking lot of Matto's Cycle, busting up his aftermarket windshield. No one saw that coming!

    On to the pictures...

Here's Mike's Suzuki intact, regardless of what his dealer trys to do to it.

Chris on the way to mayhem.

    Mike follows right behind.

Sure, your bike will fit through there.

Mike says that he likes it tight.

Eagle One, we have splash down!

Now that's how to make a splash!

What do you mean you don't like this trail? It's usually under 2 feet of water!

You wouldn't even be worried about these rocks if they were hidden under the water.

    No rock phobias here.

    The players, Chris.

    Mike.

TZ. Who wouldn't follow this guy straight into the flames of a fire.

So I get this great idea that Mike should take his bike down to the water for a photo op. Once there, the Suzuki refuses to restart! We had to push it out of there and bump start it on a nearby hill. Thank God that it fired up.

Nice picts, you guys ever go up to Paragon Adventure Park? I would love to hear how it is on a dual-sport. I have only been there in my FJ40, fun place.

How come no one told me about this ride?
I was itching for a DS ride nearby this weekend, instead I had to play cat and mouse with squids and PA LEO..
Looks like Mike really got soaked in the water, did he go for a swim in his motorcycle gear?? that's a good workout.

Woulda been cool to have you ridin with us theo... there will definately be a similar ride in the future I hope - I think Chris was pretty stoked!

I wasn't sure if i was in for this ride... picked my bike up at the dealer friday after the base and head gasket replacement then saturday I'm flyin down 422 and the thing starts blowin oil all over me and the car behind me! here the dealer didn't torque down the small plate on the top of the head. after gettin it home - i cleaned everything up, got out some gasket sealer, went to town on the bolts, and went to sleep hopin in the morning that was the only thing wrong. TZ called me and showed up just as I was checking things out and we were ok to fly - so we did!

it was fun ridin behind chris and seein that gs fall and hit the rocks while i was beatin the piss outta my bike! that gs is awesome looking - hopefully it came out with no damage. the ktm still kicked our asses tho! TZ picks some great trails... and pavement!

TZ - post a few of my pix if you want.

Here's two of my favorites from Mike's camera.

This one shows one of the really great roads we were on after the dirt section of our ride. Nothing beats high speed action shots!
