Stallion and his herd racing me along the AZ BDR on the Navajo Nation in Arizona
I like to make friends along the way as I ride the Texas Hill Country
That's pretty neat. Now, if you were a hunter and the locals don't mind some shooting in town, you could have yourself a Holiday treat. Make sure to replace this little fella with one of them plastic or ceramic deer statues so the fish&game fuzz don't come after you.
When I worked at a state park, we had a deer we had found and raised from a fawn. Grew to be very big with 8 points. Someone somehow took it from his pen, killed and butchered it. If the Park manager or the rest of us ( all hunters ) could have found them, we probably would have shot them. It was a pet to us.
A friend we met around Gardner, Co.
I think these thought we had food and wanted to get in on it.
Boo-Boo in Yellowstone
Custer State Park South Dakota
This one crossed the road in front of us outside Raton, NM.
I took this photo between Meziaden and Bell 2 on the Cassiar:
We saw so many black bears on that road that we lost count at around 15.
Made a friend in Fillmore, Utah..... the seat was still warm.....
Early one August morning me and some friends were riding back to the main road after a night of beach camping. We pulled off to take some photos of our bikes with the ocean backdrop when all of a sudden we are greeted by a couple 4 legged friends! I'm sure this photo op more than made up for the extremely bumpy ride I put my crotch rocket wheelin buddies through haha.
Holy shit! What a sphincter moment, and you still had composure to take the photo. Very impressive.
It was during my Solo Ride to Alaska in June 2017, you can read about that moment in post #332 here: Solo to Alaska on a KLR 650
Canyonlands NP last summer. If you look closely you can see a raven has landed on my GS. Had to take the pic from too far, sun was horrible, but how often do you get a raven on your bike?
