Thanks, it was a '16 standard for my color bike, not available in '18 according to the BMW website.
Not moving very far. I was afraid I wouldn't get another chance to place it further away before it "expired."
Located just south of Jonas Ridge post office on Rt 181
Wow, been quite a few years since I've been there. I assume the bullet holes in the men's room door are still there?
Augiedog and I went for a ride today.
This is closer to the location:
Bottom of the 'steepest main line grade in the US'
Cool tag. What I found on it was that it *WAS* the steepest mainline grade in the US until it closed in 2002. That record has been held since then by the Raton Pass grade in New Mexico.
The steepest grade on a major railroad's main track (as opposed to industrial spurs) was historically said to be on the Pennsylvania Railroad north of Madison, Ind. Now operated by short line Madison Railroad, the track rises 413 feet over a distance of 7012 feet - a 5.89-percent grade. The title for steepest main-line grade long rested with Norfolk Southern (and predecessor Southern Railway) for its 4.7-percent grade south of Xxxxxx, N.C. With Xxxxxx's closing in 2002, BNSF's 3.3-percent Raton Pass grade in New Mexico became the steepest main-line grade in North America.
Cool history. I like trains.
Bit far out for my schedule though.
I need to get new winter riding pants. Had mine for 20 years now. Still good but seems that I can't fit in them anymore. I'm fat!!
Dude, pants shrink after 20 years. You're good.
HAH!! I wish.
Nah I'm just fat.
News showing TAG area getting snow. Might be time to move it east.
Very cool grab!
