needed a project... 1983 kz750 shaftie

    bought it with 9000 miles and rode it home:

    changed the tires, handlebars, mirrors, had the seat re-done:

    all fluids changed and bike runs sweet....
    what do you think?

    i forgot how much fun a smaller bike is for justp putting around.

    The KZ 650/700/750 is one of the most durable and reliable engines ever built. At 9,000 miles , it is barely broken in.

    I would tour on it! In fact, a lady friend did just that, rode a Kz from NC to Oregon. Here's her first pic with the bike.
