I wonder if it's the FJ-07 that Europe gets?
From the looks of the video, it's gonna be some large GoldWing like cuiser that has reverse and built in radio heated seats etc. and branded as a Star motorcycle.
I was under the impression the 'touring class' for MC was on the decline due to lack of new riders in that class.
That's the impression I got too. Yawn.
I wish it was the Tracer 700.
Mandatory "It needs to lose at least 100lbs and +20hp AT the same price before I'll buy it." Ready to see this new tour rig....more choices the better.
Please change thread title from "new ST" to "new FBMTTR" - thanks!
(Full Boat Monster Transcontinental Touring Rig)
I wish it was going to be the FJ-07 but I'm thinking it will be that huge touring barge pics were posted of in another thread around here.
LOL at the "transcontinental" euphemism. So adv's and ST's aren't capable of crossing continents? Guess they can't think of anything else better than geezer glide.
May be the idea is to conjure up the ghost of Lincoln Continental, which is the automotive equivalent.
Geezerglide! LOL! OMFG!!
You need to copyright that, simply brilliant!
Hope they sell the hell out of them........Honda needs to be pushed along by someone.
looks like the love child of a Kawasaki Voyager, and a Victory Cross Country tour, I mean that in a good way, really I do.
Exhaust routing definitely suggests a v-twin.
The ghost of the Lincoln Continental was already conjured by the 2017 Lincoln Continental https://www.lincoln.com/luxury-cars/continental/2017/
They need a new gigantic Yamaha donor bike for the 'geezers' to convert to trikes over the next few years.
I'm 66, and this makes me want to buy another ZX14. I'm not going out without a fight dammit!.
Could they possibly build a more boring-looking car than that Lincoln sedan?
I bet they could if they really, really......really try.
I thought it was going to be a 500lb triple 1200cc or something fun like that. A Multistrada or S1000XR competitor.
