in fact i can see both gps speed and wheel speed on the same screen side by side. that's awesome since i can calibrate the wheel speedo using the signal from the gps.

finally got the time to play with the buddy tracking. we tried them out in my neighborhood where there are homes, trees and other buildings blocking off the line of sight.

started out good, both units are active and we can see each other on the map display....:clap

if you see the "X", meaning we lost communication. if that happens, ride to a higher ground or go closer to my buddy.

notice HQ is not X anymore, meaning the 2 units are communicating again

afaik, it's pretty slick and effective at least a mile. could be better in the desert or where there's little obstruction. can't wait for the heat wave to go away so i can try it else where.

Need some advice, might be simple thing but still. Installing voyager pro to my husky 701, should i wrap the tach sensor cable into inner or outer spark plug, and to which cable (orange or white&purple) trying to do the "option 3" from TT instructions. I have the tach sensor with 1 cable, black casing over red.

I was told by TT that taping the sensor to spark plug wire rather than wrapping is good option as well. For me, I had to play around with location until I got a reasonable rum readout.

On the 701 and 690 the sign isn't strong enough to tap... I tried, have troubleshot and spent time talking got Justin at TT. You need to wrap the bottom of the coil.

I wish I did... I'm traveling with my wife on our bikes in Canada right now so I haven't participated much in this thread but I pulled the inner plug boot (not the smaller outer plug) and wapped it 4 times around the bottom where they pop over the top of the spark plugs.

I also used a single wrap of wiring harness tape to keep it in place. I ensured no conductor was exposed at the end of the wire as well as cutting everything to length.

RPMs are matching my PCV POD-300 perfectly.

For the wheel wheel sensor I ended up replacing one of the bolts with TT's magnetic bolts.

Do it just like option 4 shows in your image you posted for the 690/701.

How are people mounting the Voyager Pro if they are running HDB top clamps and handguards? There's no room for clamps with this configuration.

Thanks, nice work. I've got the Rottweiler Performance bracket for the BRP bracket, but the antenna attachments get in the way. I'm hoping Paul is going to make a mount or the new protector will provide some options.

I ended up making (bodging) a bracket that holds the voyager just above the factory speedo, as I wanted the odo to keep ticking. Still uses factory mounts on the voyager and the bike, and is low enough to be flush with the headlight surround. Also, has anyone had any luck getting the unit to work with regular Bluetooth headphones? I can pair, but no audio.

We are not seeing that issue and have paired and played audio on the Sena 20S, iPhone, and Sena momentum helmet with zero issues as well as a slew of other intercoms. Please call our Tech support. (844) 378-8143

Have you tried starting the music on the phone itself instead of the Voyager? Will it play?

The music plays (according to progress bar) and phone says it is playing on voyager pro, volume at max, but there is no audio at the headphones. Have tried a few devices, to no avail. However no ‘intercom’ style devices, only headphones.

For those having problems with audio, change the name of your phone to anything that doesn’t contain “iPhone “

I had the same problem and that’s what tech support told me to do. It worked.
