Anyone know where we can leave the motorhome overnight Wed? PS overflow parking?? Gas station??
PS doesn't have any spots available or I'd just get a spot for the night.

edit: In case anyone missed my post in the nOOb rally thread.. PS said we can park in the PS parking lot for $5. Probably the overflow parking IDK.

I believe you can disperse camp on all BLM land, which is all around Panamint springs. Calk BLM and get exact info.

Ok, I have to admit it. When the Saline road is flat and fast...I try to outrun the f-18s that like to track motorcycles. Last year I got a little show!

I'm in for this. Now to figure something extra tasty for the evening, assuming that the steak thing was permanently burned last year. There is always hope.....in Pahrump we had a little brown-water tasting session and something called Yippee Ki-Yay came out on top.

Damhik I was all about the Steak dinner, after missing the event last year due to taking the JL riding class which conflicted with this ride. Hmm, do I need to pack a Ribeye for the road and eggs for breakfast?

A little late to the party, but hoping to get IN on this :thumb
Actually, I have scheduled the whole week off (3/19-23) and have reserved my camp spot (#27) at PSR for the duration.
Planning to head out to the springs on tuesday (3/20), do a loop ride (Steel, Eureka, Gold Point, Hard Luck, etc.) on wednesday (3/21), connect with the group that night, and back to PSR on thursday (3/22) for the rally.
I will truck to PSR, then be on my 525EXC with >300 mile range.

Is there a general target area where you aim to camp?
Upper spring or Lower spring? In the bushes or out in the moon rocks?
(Just so I don't hafta move my tent wed evening.)

Experienced riders, please start posting up some basic gear lists. Sleeping/camping/riding/repair-tools, clothes, etc.
Also, post any videos of basics such as tire changing, tire plugging, chain repair, etc. This ride will be a first overnite for many.
