If you go to Amazon and search for King Gee compression vest. I got some for the Cellar boys and they work great. Keep you warm and comfortable, better than a t shirt for sleeping.

    I’m 122kg and take size 3xl

I was speaking to Graham at Mt Dare Hotel last night re firewood availability and the climate...YEP its COLD there etc.
He expressed that no one has advised him on numbers so he can plan the necessary supplies in time to feed and water us
He said he was told there could be about 200 people but would like to know from someone in the know.

As you will understand his predicament , he is miles from re-supply if needed and if he hasn't got enough tucker the OCR 2018 will go down as a disaster
Graham really needs an idea to plan a successful time for us blokes

Who knows? No one. Ask no one for the answer.

People just go. They don't inform any central person or committee. The don't make a booking with any one (other than accommodation that can get booked in some places). No one takes any kind of pool as to who is going. They all just turn up. The old hands allow for the place to run out of everything so they take enough to cope with that. In fact most attendees have enough to survive, though not with luxury.

Usually around 200 people turn up. They will consume things, particularly if the price has not been put up for the benefit of the owner. But there is no guarantee that 200 will turn up.

Well that would put Gregory out of the running for the next OCR ... there would be too much going on, not to mention traffic.

No - The Festival is held at different locations around the Gulf each year - 2020 will be somewhere other than Gregory

What day might most people be going through Laverton. Will time my ride from Geraldton to meet up and tag along with someone.

Myself and one other will be at Laverton around noon on Wednesday 8th. We are travelling via the APY Lands (without permits (sshhh)) so we should be there in time. You’re welcome to join us. You’ll need a fuel range of 750km.

Dave, we will be leaving Dongara on the 3RD. We will be on the outfit so will be slow. But I am sure you and @Aussie Digger (and others from WA) will catch us up so will see you out there somewhere.

If you leave 'early' then others can catch you up.
Much better than trying to catch others .. less stressful and more cruisy.
