I have two, maybe three, days to ride from Ottawa to Sault Ste Marie on the 2nd week of June. Could anybody please advise on any nice scenic (twisties) roads, parks, sights I shouldn't miss? What towns are worthwhile visiting along the way? Any recommendations on resturants, eateries or inhouse breweries I should stop by? I will stay on paved roads only. I have never been in that part of Canada. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've made the trip 4 times so far, but only as a small part of the trip to Vancouver and back. We didn't really stop to sight see because, while scenic it wasn't much different than most of the scenery in middle Ontario. If you cross into the US on a long weekend there will be lots of time to sight see on the bridge. Never again.

The Opeongo Road (hwy 66, 64) is popular with local riders up to Wilno (http://www.ridethehighlands.ca/en/routes/opeongo-road-hwy-66-and-64-/38) - stop at the Wilno tavern (https://wilnotavern.com/) for Polish food (Wilno is the earliest Polish settlement in Canada). Camp in Algonquin Park (reserve a campsite online & remember to ask for your free bearbox key- https://www.ontarioparks.com/park/algonquin). Next is based on other's opinions but cutting to Tobermory & taking the Ferry to Manitoulin Island sounds like more fun than catching the 401 (Trans-Canada) to the Sault. Total trip time is ~15 hours according to Google maps.
